As part of our activities within the civic monitoring component of the TESTEAT Project, we are exploring and sharing traditional dishes through a modern and inclusive perspective.

The project promotes the rich enogastronomic heritage of the Adriatic region, while adapting traditional recipes to contemporary dietary preferences and needs. One of the key outcomes is an online platform where traditional dishes are presented alongside adapted recipe versions suitable for different diets—such as vegan, vegetarian, lactose-free, gluten-free, and no-added-sugar options. This approach helps preserve culinary heritage while making it accessible to a wider range of people and modern lifestyles.

Through this platform, users can discover regional recipes, explore alternative ingredients, and learn how traditional cuisine can evolve while maintaining its authentic character. If you would like to learn more about the project and explore the recipe collection, visit the official TESTEAT website: https://testeat.eu/hr/

Today we had an amazing experience in Dubrovnik!
As part of the ASOC project within the Interreg Italy–Croatia programme, our task is to monitor the TESTEAT project — and today we interviewed its project manager, Mia Hrnić.

After gathering all the secondary data at school, we needed insights straight from the source. So we arranged the interview ourselves, prepared our questions, and headed to Dubrovnik with our teacher, Maja Tičinović Žuvela.

The interview went really smoothly, and Mia gave us a super clear and detailed overview of the project’s purpose, activities, and results.

What’s next for us?
Writing the report, creating a short video of the visit, and designing an infographic showing our work on the project.

We’re collaborating with our partner school
Liceo Statale Dante Alighieri,
whose students are monitoring the project in Italy.

And the best part?
If we do everything really well, we’re heading to Ancona in May! 🎉

During the monitoring process, through this project, we are following its implementation and sharing our progress along the way.
