Spanish Night with The Virtuosos of Split - Splitski virtuozi on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 7:30 PM in the Aula Magna hall in Zagreb.

The excellent young violinist Eva Mach will perform as a soloist with The Virtuosos of Split - Splitski virtuozi under the direction of Wladimir Kossjanenko.

12. Dani J.S. Bacha u Splitu

Ovogodišnje Dvanaesto izdanje festivala Glazbeno-umjetnička udruga ARTEMIS organizira uz suradnju s Glazbenim odjelom Umjetničke akademije Sveučilišta u Splitu i Glazbenom školom ˝Josip Hatze˝ uz pokroviteljstvo Grada Splita. 12. Dani Bacha započinju u petak 22. ožujka tradicionalnim koncertom učenika Glazbene škole Josipa Hatzea i studenata Umjetničke akademije Sveučilišta u Splitu koji će se održati u salonu Jakova Gotovca u Hrvatskom domu s početkom u 19.00. Nadolazeće koncerte će biti najavljeni dodatno.

Projekt „Dani J.S. Bacha“ je prva monografska manifestacija u Hrvatskoj posvećena stvaralaštvu skladatelja. Pokrenuli su ga 2012. godine profesori Glazbenog odjela Umjetničke akademije Sveučilišta u Splitu - Vesna Podrug i Wladimir Kossjanenko, te ga od tada organiziraju svake godine na dan rođenja kompozitora - 21.ožujka. U narednim godinama broj sudionika se konstantno povećavao uz veliki interes publike. U suradnji s istaknutim hrvatskim i međunarodnim glazbenicima ostvareni su značajne koncertne projekte kao na primjer integralne uzastopne izvedbe 6 Suita za Violončelo solo, 6 Sonata i Partita za Violinu solo, dvije knjige Dobro ugođenog klavira, „Umijeće fuge“, brojne skladbe J.S. Bacha te Bachovih suvremenika.

Održano je 30 koncerata i 5 predavanja u kojim su sudjelovalo više od 150 glazbenika svih generacija iz 12 zemalja. Europsko udruženje festivala EFA u Bruxellesu dodijelilo je Danima Bacha priznanje ˝Remarkable Arts Festival of Europe 2019-2021˝.

12th Bach Days in Split

This year's Twelfth edition of the award-winning festival is organized by ARTEMIS Music and Art Association in cooperation with the Music Department of the Arts Academy of the University of Split and “Josip Hatze” School of Music under the patronage of the City of Split. 12th Days of Bach begin on Friday, March 22, with a traditional concert by students of the Josip Hatze School of Music and students of the Arts Academy of the University of Split, which will be held in the Jakov Gotovac Hall in the Croatian House, starting at 7:00 p.m. Upcoming concerts will be announced additionally.

The project "Bach Days in Split" is the first monographic event in Croatia dedicated to the composer's work. It was started in 2012 by Vesna Podrug and Wladimir Kossjanenko, professors of the Music Department of the Art Academy of the University of Split, and since then they have been organizing it every year on the birthday of the composer - March 21. In the following years, the number of participants constantly increased with great interest from the audience. In cooperation with prominent Croatian and international musicians, significant concert projects were realized, such as integral consecutive performances of 6 Suites for solo cello, 6 Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin, two books of Well Tempered Clavier, "The Art of Fugue", numerous compositions by J.S. Bach and Bach's contemporaries.

30 concerts and 5 lectures were held in which participated over 150 musicians of all generations from 12 countries. The European Association of Festivals EFA in Brussels awarded Bach Days as the ˝Remarkable Arts Festival of Europe 2019-2021˝.
