Congratulations to Irena Vukas Çufalar on this outstanding achievement!
With great pride and joy, we extend our sincere congratulations to Irena Vukas Çufalar, recipient of the “Siniša Glavašević” Award for Local Radio Journalism.
Through her dedicated work, Irena has demonstrated how journalism can be a powerful driver of positive social change. Her contribution to the Green ASC VET (Metautism) project is especially valuable – for more than two and a half years, she has been hosting the Metautism radio programme on Radio92FM and Radio Ogulin, continuously bringing topics related to autism closer to the wider public.
Through her professional, empathetic and responsible approach, Irena helps project results reach the community, encourages understanding, and fosters inclusion.
This award is a recognition of her excellence, but also of the importance of the topics we promote together.

Autistic Pride Day
Today we celebrate the uniqueness, strengths, and perspectives of people on the autism spectrum. It is a reminder of how important it is to build a society where everyone is accepted as they are.
Through our Green ASC VET (Metautism) project, we strive to create real change – offering better opportunities in education and employment, with the support and understanding autistic individuals deserve.
Our goal is to provide support in vocational education through innovative tools using XR technologies, taking into account the real needs and strengths of autistic individuals.

In this episode our guest is Marijan Živić, the father of a 6-year-old autistic daughter, Ana. He offers a practical and reflective perspective on what early autism support looks like in real life. From recognizing the first subtle developmental differences, to navigating early intervention, and building understanding step by step over time.

Drawing from his own experience, Marijan shares valuable insights into how communication begins long before speech, why small signals like eye contact and pointing matter, and how learning often happens through everyday routines rather than formal methods.

He also speaks honestly about the emotional side of parenting without a clear roadmap, including responsibility, uncertainty, and persistence through burnout and progress alike.

We had a fantastic experience at Croatia 2026, where we presented the Green ASC VET project results together with our partners from the Industrial and Trade School Slavonski Brod.

At their stand, visitors explored and welding simulators and our XR solutions — Interview Master and 360° Videos – Occupations on the Spectrum.

The reactions were excellent: lots of questions, enthusiasm, and valuable feedback on how these technologies can support students in preparing for future professions.

A big thank‑you to our partners for the great presentation and joint promotion of innovation in vocational education.

Yesterday we kicked off the first day of staff training for our partner organisations at Virsabi in Denmark — and it was fantastic!

A huge thank‑you to Jakob Hakonson for the excellent organisation, and to Jens Laurintsen, Adrian Glassel, Erik Sikstrom and Georgi Ivanov for their inspiring presentations that opened the door to the world of XR technologies. From the first idea to the final product — we saw just how complex the process is and how many details shape the final outcome.

This experience gave us new energy and motivation to continue working on the project. Excited for everything that’s coming next!

We’ve been in Copenhagen since 13 April, entering the final phase of the Green ASC VET – Metautism project. Our days are filled with analysis, coordination, and fine‑tuning every detail to ensure the strongest and most meaningful final results.
Today we are opening the XR training — diving deeper into the technology that will empower our partners and practitioners to use the project results with even greater impact.
We work with dedication, focus, and a clear purpose: creating inclusive solutions that change lives.

Today, on World Autism Awareness Day, we continue our conversation with Dr. Klaus Lüben, an advocate for autism and invisible disabilities.

Why does society still struggle to understand autism? And what happens when systems are built only around what can be seen?

In this episode, we explore:

– barriers to accessing rights and disability recognition,

– why invisible disabilities are often misunderstood or dismissed,

– the exhausting reality of masking in everyday life,

– the importance of autistic communities and peer support.
