Geography Department of Faculty of Science is the oldest and biggest Geography Department in Croatia. On bachelor, master and integrated courses study around 450 students!
Department consists of three institutes: Institute for Physical Geography, Institute for Social Geography and Institute for Regional Geography and Methods.

The Student Union of the University of Zagreb was established in 1996 and since then it`s the main student representative body. They are engaged in the content of accommodation, food, culture, sport, science and everything else related to the life of students of the University of Zagreb!

It has been quite a ride for us...

Since preparing the application for the AC last summer and winning it at the AC17, working hard during all the year, being stressed, putting AC at the top of our priorities and for the end spending one amazing week in Selce, surounded by all of you...

Sure, we completely ran out of energy, especially during the AC week, but all of that was worth it :) Seeing your posts on social media in the last days, where you had just the words of gratitude and praise for our organisation, made us feel really thankful. With that we saw how we were honored and proud to host you in beautiful Croatia in Selce.

We want to say thanks to all the people who helped in this Congress being one nicely organised event. Biggest thanks go to our volunteers, without them the AC wouldn't be possible. Thanks also to workshop leaders, trainers, poster and scientific symposium presenters and to all the rest of you who participated in our programme!! Thanks to all :D

We wish a good luck to the AC19 organizers, have a productive year to come :)
