ODC Program

The Osijek Doctoral Colloquium (ODC) is organized by a consortium of different institutions and organisations.

This program seeks to facilitate a guided study period of 2-5 weeks in summer or winter to students that have started a PhD program.

Dear friends,

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Anne-Marie Kool, our professor, mentor, adviser, and friend. But it is also with hope that she went to be with the Lord.

Anne-Marie was a lifelong missiologist, a reflective practitioner and a theorist as well. She was a visionary and devoted to this part of the world. Dutch-born, she became an Eastern European, living for more than 40 years in Hungary.

She was part of the small group – together with Peter Penner, Corneliu Constantineanu, Parush Parushev, and Peter Kuzmič – that had the initiative of starting what we know now as the Osijek Doctoral Colloquium (ODC). This program helped more than one hundred and fifty theological researchers in just over a decade to pursue their doctoral studies.

We are grateful to have known her and are blessed by God through her work. We extend our condolences to the family.
