[NAJAVA GOSTUJUĆEG PREDAVANJA]

✔️ Gostujuće predavanje pod nazivom Artificial Intelligence and Cybercrime održat će prof. dr. sc. Csongor Herke s Pravnog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Pečuhu.

✔️ Predavanje će se održati 23. travnja 2026. godine od 17:00 do 19:00 sati na Pravnom fakultetu Osijek, u dvorani 2/17 (Stjepana Radića 17, prvi kat).

✔️ Tijekom predavanja obradit će se aktualne teme poput utjecaja umjetne inteligencije na ljudska prava, pitanja deepfake tehnologije i vjerodostojnosti dokaza, primjene umjetne inteligencije u kaznenom postupku te izazova istraživanja kaznenih djela u virtualnom prostoru.

📣 [NEW BOOK: Law in the Age of Digital Technologies] 📣

With great excitement, we announce the publication of the editorial book "Law in the Age of Digital Technologies", released by Milano University Press. The book was prepared by an editorial team comprising Prof. Francesca C. Villata, Prof. Mirela Župan, Prof. Katarina Trimmings, and Dr. Giulia Gabrielli.

This publication has emerged as an additional outcome of the project “Time to Become Digital in Law (DIGinLaw)”, carried out with the support of the Erasmus+ programme in partnership with the University of Aberdeen, the University of Milan, the University of Osijek, and the University Computing Centre of the University of Zagreb. 🇪🇺

The contributions featured in the book explore the major legal challenges and implications arising from digitalisation. The authors examine how emerging technologies—such as AI systems, facial recognition, DLT, and smart contracts—are reshaping legal frameworks, raising critical human rights concerns, and highlighting the need for more explicit regulation of contemporary technologies. Additionally, the book delves into the transformation of legal education in the digital age. 💻 ⚖

Head of the DIGinLaw project Prof. Mirela Župan just held a presentation in Zagreb, Croatia, at the SRCE DEI 2023 Conference, which is also the final conference of the national strategic project Croatian Scientific and Educational Cloud (HR-ZOO). 💻
