EUROPE DAY AT THE SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND TOURISM DARUVAR!
For the first time, ETSDA hosted an event led by Junior Ambassadors of the European Parliament to celebrate Europe Day through various activities organized by teacher Ivana Leder.
The event began with a performance by the Daruvar Majorettes “DA ME”, followed by a welcome dance by our junior ambassadors. Guests from the Secondary School Pakrac also joined us.
Students Iva Medić (Daruvar) and Srećko Popović (Pakrac) gave a presentation on disinformation and held a debate on “Chat GPT as a source of (dis)information”.
This was followed by an EU-themed quiz led by teacher Romana Zelda, where students won small prizes. First-year students Dajana Pejazić and Gabriela Kolić presented the Croatian language and its importance.
Later, students tasted traditional homemade products prepared by students of different classes and viewed a European countries exhibition set by teacher Ksenija Škorić.
The day concluded with fun games like ping pong spoon races, balloon popping, balloon dancing, balloon football, and tug of war.
It was both fun and educational!
