🇭🇳 On the Way to Costa Rica 2026 🇨🇷

The La Salle Honduras Organizing Committee held a general meeting with the parents and students who are part of the sports delegation that will represent our institution at the upcoming Lasallian Sports Games Costa Rica 2026, which will take place in August.

During the meeting, the official jersey that will identify our delegation at this important international event was presented, reinforcing the sense of belonging and pride in representing La Salle Honduras.

The event also featured the valuable participation of representatives from La Salle School in Costa Rica—Principal Ana Catalina Fallas and Sports Coordinator Katherine Umaña—who shared relevant information about the organization, logistics, and schedule of the 2026 Lasallian Sports Games in Costa Rica. During their presentation, they provided guidance to families and students on key aspects of the event, thereby strengthening our delegation’s preparation for this important sporting and educational experience.

We are officially opening registration at the La Salle Experimental Institute Basketball Academy, a place where we will develop much more than just athletes: we will foster discipline, leadership, confidence, and a passion for the sport.

Under the guidance of Coach Carlos Trujillo, a FIBA N1-licensed coach, our children and youth will have the opportunity to develop their skills, improve their physical conditioning, and experience the thrill of basketball in a safe, competitive, and educational environment.

The celebration continued with a day full of excitement, where our students enjoyed a lively soccer match alongside our friends from the San José La Salle Institute, strengthening the bonds of brotherhood that unite us as a Lasallian family.

The fun continued with recreational games, laughter, and activities designed to share, socialize, and create memories that will remain forever in the hearts of our young people.

And as the grand finale, we all witnessed a historic moment as we watched the World Cup opening ceremony live and the exciting match between Mexico and South Africa, experiencing together the passion for soccer and the enthusiasm that this great event sparks around the world.

Because being a student is also about celebrating friendship, enjoying every stage, and building experiences that shape a lifetime.

As part of our Student Day celebration, we held a moving and solemn ceremony to recognize the effort, perseverance, and academic commitment of our students in grades 7 through 11, presenting a certificate of recognition to those on the Honor Roll an achievement that reflects their dedication and passion for excellence.

We also paid special tribute to our 14 Students of Solidarity, students chosen by a vote of their peers for standing out through their spirit of service, empathy, camaraderie, and willingness to lend a hand to those who need it most. This recognition celebrates those small gestures that transform the school environment and remind us that true greatness is also found in the goodness of the heart.
