I cannot believe you died today. Yesterday, for the first time i told the story of having lunch with you in DC. I told the person i would not speak ill of you because you were sick. I stopped short of saying you had passed. And then i saw the news this morning. So let me say RIP Jessie Jackson. And thank you for sharing your time with me and my colleagues back in, I believe 1998. That conversation really helped me. You were real and probably more honest than you should have been, but it was truly appreciated. Again. RIP.

I am often asked if AI is going to take American jobs. I do not see AI as an anomaly, but as part of a long history of reducing labor costs. Below is a visual of how I see the evolution of labor—with AI as the next chapter.
