The Bay Islands International School Jaguars Band has kicked off fundraising efforts to attend our first ever CNBH competition in La Ceiba. Our goal is to raise L60,000. You can support us via a bank transfer or drop by our booth at the Mango Festival on Sunday, June 28th and make a cash donation.

La Confederación Nacional de Bandas de Honduras (CNBH) le da una cordial y especial bienvenida a la Banda de Guerra “Bay Islands International School”, quienes desde la hermosa isla de Roatán, Islas de la Bahía, pasan oficialmente a formar parte de nuestra gran familia CNBH en la categoría intermedia.

Para nuestra organización es un orgullo continuar expandiendo este movimiento artístico y cultural hasta la zona insular de nuestro país, demostrando que el talento, la disciplina y la pasión por las bandas de guerra también laten con fuerza en nuestras bellas islas hondureñas.

Today we held our annual Mother's Day Celebration at Bay Islands International School. W had so much fun celebrating the moms that we all love so much. We hope you enjoy the photos!!!!

Sofia Warren is one of the many success stories at Bay Islands International School. She graduated with honors, went straight to work at Clinica Esperanza Roatan, and began the difficult task of getting accepted to her dream school to study Medicine, Anahuak University. This past week Sofia was notified that not only has she been accepted, but she has also been awarded a scholarship to cover 55% of her costs to attend. Unfortunately that amount is still a major obstacle. Help us make Sofia's dream of attending Anahuak University a reality. We are calling on all of our supporters to please consider donating to Sofia's University fund. You can do so through the US Based non-profit Empower Youth Honduras. Empower Youth is a registered 501c3 and all donations are tax deductible. Just indicate that your donation is for Sofia in the note.
