🔥 HOUSE SPIRIT UNLOCKED! 🔥
Last Friday afternoon (4 Sep), our campus was filled with incredible energy as all 6 Houses kicked off the school year with House Orientation! 🏆✨
From breaking the ice in our house family units to taking on epic team challenges, the friendly competition and non-stop laughter set the bar high for the year ahead. But the best part? Gathering together at the amphitheater to close out the day! The energy was absolutely electric as each House brought the noise, cheered their hearts out, and showed everyone what true House pride looks like. 📣⚡️

The Science Department is proud to celebrate our students’ outstanding achievements in the Hong Kong Physics Olympiad 2026!

Following their dedicated participation in the after-school accelerated learning programme conducted by our physics teachers, three of our students won the Second Class Honour, Third Class Honour, and Honourable Mention. Adding to this success, HKUGA College was named an Honourable Mention School.

A New Academic Year, Officially Underway! 🎒✨

Welcome back to school! Seeing everyone‘s bright smiles has brought our campus back to life. ☀️

A new year brings a fresh start! We look forward to seeing our students eagerly explore knowledge and enjoy a vibrant campus life.

We would also like to extend our warmest congratulations to Alvina Chan on winning the 2026 HKUGA Education Foundation Outstanding Student Award! 🏆👏

This afternoon, our Peer Counselors led the S1 Orientation—helping newcomers navigate the campus and build class spirit, beautifully embodying our school’s caring culture of mentorship. We hope our S1 students love learning and growing here!

女子籃球隊集訓營已順利完成，透過高強度體能訓練與戰術思維演練，將每一次汗水轉化為可見的進步；亦以團隊凝聚為核心，建立更深層的賽場默契與互信。

5 of our STEM Teams have won six awards (including three Silver Awards and three Bronze Awards) in the Greater Bay Area Digital Education STEAM Excellence Awards 2026. They were recognized in a range of categories, including Life/Health, Rotary Water Purification, New Materials and New Energy, and Science Video.

We also received the Best Participating School Award this year! We are very proud of our students’ achievements in STEM and research. Congratulations to our STEM Teams and our teacher supervisors!

Day 18 in Queensland: THEY DID IT! 🇦🇺🛶🥾

Our 59 HKUGA College adventurers have officially returned triumphant from their epic 5-day-4-night expedition across the rugged Aussie outback!

Journeying all the way from north to south, they conquered challenging days of canoeing and hiking. It was the ultimate test of their patience, perseverance, resilience, and physical capacity—and every single one of them made it!

Living out in the wild, they served each other through every hard mile, offering constant mental and physical support. Whenever conflicts or frustrations arose, being completely device-free meant there was no running away to digital distractions. Instead, they faced every challenge head-on, communicating through difficulties together.

They return to base as remarkably mature, grounded, and confident young adventurers. What an incredible milestone! 🌿⛺✨

Day 9 in Queensland! Testing our resilience and stepping up to the next level. 🌧️🎒✨

Our 59 HKUGA College adventurers just completed an empowering 2-day-1-night practice expedition—the essential dress rehearsal for their upcoming 5-day-4-night journey!

Students took full ownership of their experience: packing their own rucksacks, sharing food and equipment, and mastering key camping skills. Even when rain hit during the trek, their spirits remained remarkably high! Navigating the wet weather taught them how to uplift and support one another through challenging times.

Following the expedition, a guided reflection session helped raise their self-, relational-, and perceptual awareness, guiding them to build positive, meaningful relationships with themselves and others. 🧠❤️

With strong hearts, solid teamwork, and newly acquired skills, our young leaders are fully prepared for the main expedition ahead! 🌿⛺💪

Day 6 in Queensland, and our 59 adventurers are reaching new heights! 🧗‍♂️✨

Teamwork took center stage today as students conquered high rope challenges like Jacob’s Ladder and Crate Stack. By mastering belaying skills, they literally supported each other through every climb! They also built rafts together through pure collaboration and learned how Australians protect their unique environment. 🌿🛶

Between energetic community fitness sessions and communal activities, daily service duties are now second nature—seamlessly built into their routine as constant interaction deepens their lifelong bonds.

Crucially, physical adventure was balanced with quiet alone time for personal self-conversation, followed by group reflection sessions that further strengthened their relationships. 🧠❤️

The journey of self-discovery, resilience, and connection continues to grow stronger every single day!
