Ever since we stopped doing in-person workshops a couple years ago, I've wanted to continue teaching design & storytelling through online content/courses.

Now I can finally say we've made a presentation design course on Skillshare, available for FREE for the first 20 people who sign up!!

After designing presentations for 10+ years, spending 1,000s of hours making slides for companies, this course has everything we wish we knew when we started.

There's 13 videos, 50 mins of practical tips & examples, all tailored to beginners/non-designers, and illustrated, narrated and edited by Vickie Leung and Sharon Cho!

**New Design MasterClasses happening next week!!**

We'll be running three new design MasterClasses at The Wave in Kwun Tong next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening:

How to Design Effective Promotional Graphics (Graphic Design) - Tuesday 8 May
How To Design Superior Presentations (Presentation Design) - Wednesday 9 May
How To Design Delightful Experiences (UX Design) - Thursday 10 May

The MasterClasses are HK$390 each and will cover a topic from a more technical and hands-on perspective over 2 hours with step-by-step guidance and personal feedback for every person attending!

Classes are limited to just 10-12 people so there will be plenty of opportunities to get your questions asked and receive support on anything that you're looking to learn and explore.

Hey, it's Barney here! A quick update:

Next month, I'll be teaching design for the first time in Kowloon at The Wave!

I'll be running an updated version of my two most popular sessions: An Introduction to Design 設計入門 and Secrets of Great Presentation Design 優秀簡報設計的秘密, which will then be followed by new hands-on workshops on graphic design & photo editing and presentation design.

My super talented UX designer friends Blank Slate (Hanny Yeung, Lillian Lai and Alan Cheng) will also be running UX sessions as part of the series. I'm sure you will get great insights from them and I highly recommend checking out their workshop, Busting the Myth of UX Design 破解「用戶體驗設計」之謎!

Looking forward, I'll be expanding my team/operations so I can deliver higher quality workshops, reply to more of your messages, and commit to making videos and notes that I have so far been unable to finish.

Doing everything by myself as a one-man company has been rewarding but tough, so I've been taking some time to evaluate a few options and build a more sustainable system. Hopefully I'll have some news to share soon :)

Hey, it's Barney here! Just wanted to say thank you so much for everyone's support over the last year.

I have loved sharing my experience in design and video with all of you and have met brilliant people who have given me great opportunities to work on some awesome projects.

Although that means I'm super busy these days and have yet to catch up with videos, notes, and replying to your emails, I'm super grateful for your continued support and patience!

To say thank you, I'm running free workshops every evening next week with Mustard Seed in our Creative Christmas Series!

Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be 60 min talks + Q&A, while Tuesday and Thursday are 2-hour hands-on interactive sessions. All sessions are FREE!

Think of these sessions as a collection of the best parts of my workshops this year with all the key points that you need to know about getting started in design and video-making, told through NEW examples and demonstrations.

Hey, it's Barney here! Tonight's the first session of the new workshop series!

I'm super excited to run these workshops with you and share some new insights and stories that I've been putting together over the last month or so, especially as I will be teaching video-making for the first time!
