Lingo Academy employs a multi-disciplinary approach to learning delivered by native, experienced and passionate teachers. We are the first academy in Hong-Kong to incorporate the International Baccalaureate's curriculum in our playgroups, and as a result our students develop intelligence, emotions, creativity, social skills and physicality as they learn.

Lingo Academy provides an excellent child-centered approach to nursery and pre-school education with four languages for your choice.

At Lingo Academy, we are committed to providing the best possible care for your child, while also being responsive to your needs as parents. This is a unique and innovative approach to childcare. Our Mission is to see our students develop fully by providing a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to play, learn and grow in, while teaching the children self-esteem, respect, and responsibility.

Our belief in learning through the process of discovery is exemplified in our many educational "Story time” & “Discovery time" where children learn in a hands-on environment. Here they have opportunities they would not encounter in a home setting that will spark their interest, stimulate their curiosity, and invite interaction.

Nathanial's Birthday Party!
Our primary goal is to make the birthday child feel special. A secondary goal is to ensure that everyone has a good time at the birthday party.

The children will remember whether they had fun, not whether your house was spotless or whether you carried out your chosen birthday party theme down to the last tiny detail. As far as I'm concerned, a successful birthday party is one in which no one bursts into tears!

Lingo Academy has been hosting many birthday parties with many happy faces!

Sensory play is simply play that encourages children to use one or more of the senses. Often called “messy play,” sensory play experiences focus on stimulating children’s senses of sight, sound, smell, touch, taste, balance, and movement.

Teacher Edward said:
Young children rely on sensory input to learn about their environment.
Sensory play helps build neural connections that support thought, learning, and creativity.
Sensory play supports language development, cognitive growth, fine/gross motor skills, problem solving/reasoning, and social interaction.

Getting gooey!

Younger children may or may not enjoy making these crafts. It depends on if they enjoy getting gooey. If you're willing to give the little ones a fair amount of one on one help, the paper mache and painting portions of these crafts can be rewarding for children as young as age 3.

Happy crafting!!

Lingo Academy is proudly introducing a new Cantonese Playgroup for children aged between 6 months and 4 years!

Children are encouraged to explore their creativity and unleash their imagination as they discover a new language with us.

We welcome native or non-cantonese speakers to join our playgroups, which help to develop a strong language foundation with progressive vocabulary, group activities, and plenty of craft and games.

"Hands-on learning is learning by doing"

Lingo Academy involves the child in a total learning experience which enhances the child's ability to think critically. The child must plan a process to test a hypothesis, put the process into motion using various hands-on materials, see the process to completion, and then be able to explain the attained results.

See it for yourself.

WALL OF FAME 23/07/2014

In this album we are showcasing the artwork of our little artists.

At this age, arts & crafts are a great way to engage your pre-schooler, toddler or baby in ideas that provide foundation for future learning.

Not only do they develop fine motor skills, but they also develop concepts like colour and shape recognition, and get to actively experiment with scientific processes such as glue and paint drying too.

Craft allows kids to explore their creativity and imagination and to express ideas that they might otherwise lack an outlet for. Plus they learn and discover so much, all while they're having fun!

Benefits can include:
Extending their thinking across multiple patterns of intelligence
Develop self-confidence and self-discipline
Enhance multicultural understandings
Build self esteem
Gain positive emotional responses to learning
Engage through a variety of learning styles

Children learn:
10% of what they READ
20% of what they HEAR
30% of what they SEE
50% of what they HEAR and READ
70% of what they SAY and,
90% of what they DO!
