Harrow Hong Kong was delighted to host its University Fair, welcoming over 80 exhibitors from recognised universities and institutions across the UK, US, Canada, and Hong Kong.

The event brought together over 500 Harrow Hong Kong students and parents from Year 10 to Year 13, alongside over 100 students from Harrow Zhuhai and Harrow Shenzhen, creating a dynamic platform for pupils to explore global university pathways and future opportunities.

Through meaningful conversations with university representatives and expert guidance, the fair reflects Harrow Hong Kong’s commitment to preparing pupils for university and nurturing the confidence, ambition, and leadership qualities they need to thrive as future leaders.

A wonderful start to the academic year at Harrow Hong Kong with our first Assembly, bringing the community together to reflect, reconnect, and look ahead to the exciting year to come.

Following the Assembly, parents were warmly invited to the Heads’ Coffee Morning with Ms. McColl and other members of staff. It was a valuable opportunity to meet, share conversations, and strengthen the partnership between home and school.

The excitement is building as we welcome new colleagues to Harrow Hong Kong through our annual Induction Week and CPD programme.

From HR training sessions and campus tours to a warm welcome from Head, Rosie McColl, our newest staff members have been immersing themselves in the Harrow ethos while getting to know one another through a staff lunch and a walk along the iconic Peak Trail.

As a community committed to continuous learning and excellence, these shared experiences help ensure our staff are equipped, connected, and inspired for the year ahead.

Alan's transformation through Harrow Horizons shows how our programme unlocks confidence and capability in unexpected ways.

Through the diverse opportunities Harrow Horizons provides, he's found his stride, playing in three music ensembles, performing in drama productions, and serving as a House Leader. The programme's blend of creative, leadership, and performance activities taught him responsibility, pushed him beyond his comfort zone.

This is what Harrow Horizons achieves. Giving pupils the structured opportunities and supportive environment to discover that growth rarely feels comfortable in the moment but becomes the foundation of who they are.

Vanessa's journey demonstrates how Harrow Horizons evolves with each pupil, from exploration to mastery, from participation to leadership.

The programme's breadth allowed her to experiment widely across Sciences, Arts, and Charity before discovering her true passions. Our Head Girl leads ChemPod, a pupil-founded society within Harrow Horizons producing science podcasts, whilst also taking First Aid training and participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award, all opportunities the programme makes possible.

Through these Harrow Horizons activities, she's developed essential skills: communication through podcasting, empathy through mentoring younger pupils, and cultural understanding through expeditions beyond Hong Kong.

Vanessa's story exemplifies what our enrichment programme achieves, not just academic extension, but the development of soft skills, self-awareness, and leadership qualities that prepare pupils for life well beyond Harrow Hong Kong.
