Kia ora Paewai whānau!!
With challenge 7 and 8 complete, we finally found out what was in our box today! It was an envelope with a message to first figure out the eldest, the youngest, and the students whose age falls in the middle. Then these students were to collect something from the principal's office and bring it back. It turned out to be a bunch of presents! One for each of our Paewai students 🎁
But it didn't finish there. Once the box was brought back, we played a game of White Elephant Gift Exchange to decide who got what. Round 1 was a zero steal round because everyone was too tempted by the unknown. Then we did a 2nd round and the stealing of presents was on! Some students carefully chose what they'd take from their fellow comrades and others were quick to take what they knew they wanted. It was fun, it was loud, it was chaotic, it was exciting. Everyone got something in the end and everyone played well.
Well done my Paewai tamariki mā! ❤️ 💙
