Movement is essential to a happy & healthy mind and body. Numerous studies have shown that they lower levels of stress induced hormones like cortisol, and increases endorphin production, that have a direct impact on mood.

That being said, the biological effects of exercise aren't the end of movement's benefits. They provide us with an outlet, and a way to connect with one another. At high levels it facilitates travel and education, whilst at grassroots it allows people to perform with a common goal in mind. this shared experience is something that we bond over. Whether teammates or competitors, sports and movement break down barriers, and allow connection.

The goal of our Borderless Classrooms initiative is to break down barriers via cultural exchange. the friendships made between FJHS and Pui Ching middle school students are testament to this. Lasting and impactful, we hope that both sets of students will look back on their experience fondly!

Creation is a powerful tool for change, internally and externally.
It wields the ability to dictate the direction that an individuals life will go, and how they will go out and affect the world around them.
By using this as a force for good, and as a force to open young mind's to realities beyond their every day life, we hope that in turn they will use their ability to create for good.

The medium of creation often does not matter, it is the act itself that is important. We wish to galvanise people to simply undertake the act, and use whatever they are comfortable with to do so. We provide a variety of tools and mediums, so that our beneficiaries are never restricted in this act.

Throughout FJHS' trip to Hong Kong, they took part in different sports; handball, athletics, volleyball, tai chi and more, alongside their peers at Pui Ching Middle School.

Though not their usual sports of choice, the students gave it their all, and formed stronger bonds with one another through perseverance, as well as with their competitors.
Though in conflict on the field, the activities paid dividends off the field, with the students gaining deeper understanding of their peers, despite the language barrier.

Sports are one of the common human denominators that all of us can do - and through this connection we hope to inspire hope.

Far from the cinematic exploits of Jeet Kune Do, thousands across Hong Kong partake in the Tai Chi every day in pursuit of self-growth.
