🌐 UKiset 資料：
UKiset 係一個英國私立學校的入學測試 ，整個考試係網上進行，大約2個小時左右完成。最小的考試年齡為9歲半，而最大係18歲。
Ukiset 有效期為一年，每隔4個月就可以再考。

【University of Birmingham 伯明翰大學 － 環境篇 🏡】
University of Birmingham (UoB) 位於全英國第二大城市既-伯明翰。
Main Campus距離市中心大概10分鐘車程。UoB比較特別既係學校有自己一個火車站’University’，由University搭出去Birmingham New Street (市中心)更加10分鐘都唔洗。UoB係英國第一間’Red Brick University’，所以歷史悠久，學校既環境由新穎同古舊既建築組成。學校近年更加翻新校園，將中心變為幾片草地，令學生有更多時間可以在外休憩。UoB作為一間Campus University，校園範圍算大，由學校最南邊徒步行到最北邊都需要20分鐘。最出名既地標就係位於校園中心既鐘樓——’Old Joe’。呢個鐘樓係《魔戒》中Orthanc（Isengard的黑塔）既靈感來源。對於鐘樓亦有一d傳說，譬如一直流傳話如果學生係鐘樓響鐘既時候穿過鐘樓，學生就會畢唔到業 －信不信，由你！😏

15 OCT 2021: 報讀牛津大學和劍橋大學的任何課程，或醫學，獸醫/科學和牙科其他大學課程之截止日期
15 JAN 2022: 所有英國大學申請之截止日期
要入讀英國著名學府 －University of Oxford 及 University of Cambridge 非一朝一夕。Oxbridge的收生要求並非只靠學生的公開試成績，還需要面試及專科入學試，而學生整個portfolio 更是關鍵。Oxbridge 除了希望學生有優異成績外，還需要有獨特的批判性思考，面對不同議題，能夠有組織性地去表達清晰的立場及意見，這絕對是大部分香港學生的挑戰。
如學生有意入讀這兩所大學，應及早預備去準備。Oxbridge個人指導課程會由專科導師進行一對一指導，提供入讀Oxbridge的全面準備。導師會定期跟進學生的進度，務求協助學生成功入讀Oxbridge。

由於GCSE及AL考試已取消，英國教育局宣布將根據老師校內評核的成績來決定最終成績，其中包括：
- marked mock exams
- exams done under timed conditions
- marked coursework
- marked essays

What is the CAT4?
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) is used by UK schools to assess pupils’ developed abilities and future academic potential.
Schools use a child’s performance in a CAT4 to judge progress over the academic year and to make decisions regarding setting and streaming according to ability. It is a way for a school to understand a pupil’s strengths and weaknesses and to personalise learning and adapt teaching.
The resulting data is used to identify a pupil’s strengths, weaknesses and learning preferences. Crucial information essential for personalised learning. The more a school knows about a pupil, the better it can position itself to enable pupils to maximise their individual potential.
認知能力測試（CAT4）被英國學校用來評估學生的發展能力和未來的學術潛力。
學校使用學生在CAT4中的表現來判斷學年的進展情況，並根據能力決定取錄與否。 學校能了解學生的優點和缺點，從而制定個人化的學習計劃及教學模式。
所得數據用於確定學生的優勢，弱點和學習偏好。 學校越多了解學生，越能為學生定位，使學生能夠最大限度地發揮自己的潛能。
CAT4 Test Format 考試模式
The CAT4 is usually administered in four parts and consists of questions assessing:
Verbal Reasoning (VR)
Non Verbal Reasoning (NVR)
Quantitative Reasoning (QR)
Spatial Awareness (SA).
Questions are in multiple-choice format and there are five answers to choose from, labelled A-E.
CAT4 is available for children aged 7:06 – 17+ years and comes in seven different levels of difficulty. Each comprises three tests of 45 minutes each; 2 hours 15 minutes in total.

UKiset is an assessment designed for entry into British curriculum schools. The UKiset Profile provides schools with all the information they need when considering an overseas applicant.
The test includes assessments of academic potential and English language skills, and the results compare candidates against British students of the same age. UKiset provides a level playing field for students from all backgrounds to apply to the best schools in the world.
UKiset 是針對進入英國中學的評估。測試包括對學術潛力和英語語言技能的評估，而結果將與同齡的英國學生進行比較。 UKiset為所有的學生提供一個公平的競爭環境，從而成功申請到世界上最好的學校。
整個考試是網上進行，大約2個小時左右完成，最小的考試年齡為9歲半，而最大是18歲。
Ukiset 有效期為一年 每隔4個月就可以重考。
Ukiset is designed to measure five principal areas:
1. Non-Verbal Reasoning (a form of problem solving based around diagrams rather than words)
2. Spatial Ability (tests the ability to mentally rotate and manipulate shapes in two and three dimensions)
3. Verbal Reasoning (problem solving with words)
4. Quantitative (is the application of mathematical concepts and skills to solve real-world problems)
5. English (grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening and creative writing)
Ukiset Test Format：
Section 1: Reasoning Test (45 minutes) – Verbal reasoning; Non-verbal reasoning; Quantitative reasoning
Section 2: The Cambridge English Placement Test (Reading, Listening and Use of English) (30 minutes)
Section 3: English Essay (30 minutes)
UKiset takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete but may be longer for year 12 entries due to the level of their test. Once a test is completed, Instant reports are generated and are available the next working day. The report is emailed to the provided contact.
