On 10 June 2026, our Inter-House Upcycling Competition brought Shrek-inspired creativity to the LG Hall. Houses transformed recycled materials into ogre-green fashion statements and walked the runway with style.
Congratulations to Bombax and Juniper for winning first place! A huge thank you to all our students, teachers, judges, and House Committee members for bringing such creativity and energy to this lunchtime catwalk ๐๐

On 5 June 2026, we celebrated the graduation of our Form 6 students. The ceremony unfolded in a space filled with creativity, Enriched by student work from IBDP Theatre, Music, and Visual Arts that echoed the vibrant spirit of CSS.
Highlighted by inspiring words from Mr. Victor Fong, Ms. Marisa Yiu, and Mr. Stephen Hindes, the ceremony was full of touching moments. These emotions resonated deeply during the symbolic Passing of the Torch, alongside captivating musical performances by the Form 6 Band and a touching student-produced music video.
To the Class of 2026, keep growing in all directions, like trees reaching for the light. May your roots run deep and your path unfold bright. ๐ฑ

This week, our Spanish students took their learning into the kitchen! They prepped ingredients, controlled the heat for that perfect crispy rice layer (known as socarrat in Spanish or ้ฃฏ็ฆ in Chinese), then enjoyed the fruits of their labor together.
But the experience didn't stop at the kitchen counter. With full stomachs and firsthand knowledge, the students dove into an active cultural debate. Using the dish as a mirror, they discussed how geography, climate, and history shape the identity of a society, while putting their oral skills to the test. By stepping outside the traditional classroom, our students engaged in real-world dialogue, challenged stereotypes, and discovered that food is one of the most powerful ways to connect with other cultures.
It was incredible to see language, culture, and community come together over a traditional pella from Valencia. Cheers to our amazing students for bringing global traditions to life!๐ฅ
๐ Swipe to see the students in action!

We're proud to share that our Form 5 student Janice Cheung will represent Hong Kong at the U20 Asian Athletics Championships, taking place at Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground from 28 to 31 May 2026.
Janice brings a gold medal from the women's 4x100m relay at the last championship in the UAE. This year, she's turned her attention to the long jump, where she recently jumped a personal best of 6m at the Hong Kong Athletics Series in April. Now she's ready to push further at Kai Tak, joining 69 Hong Kong athletes as they take on competitors from over 30 countries and regions across Asia.
It's been wonderful to see Janice grow as an athlete. We're proud of her commitment and excited to see where her training takes her next. ๐ช

The CSS Junior Boys Volleyball teams achieved a historic breakthrough last weekend! ๐
On Saturday, 9 May 2026, the team secured 2nd place overall in the HKSSF Division Three (K1) C Grade Boys Volleyball competition - the best result CSS has ever achieved in the sport. Led by Captain Nathan Lam, the team includes Henry Tse, Bryan Ho, Liam Wai (all Form 2), alongside Kody Yeung, Sanyog Goyal, Jeremy Chan, and Dsilva Kean Simson (all Form 1).
The success continued on Sunday, 10 May, as twin brothers Coulson Chan and Curt Chan (Form 2) earned 4th place overall in the Division Three Boys Junior Grade Beach Volleyball Competition after defeating five other schools. This is a remarkable achievement, especially considering it is only the third year of our schoolโs involvement in Beach Volleyball.
Congratulations to all the players on their outstanding success!๐
