🎧 The Education University of Hong Kong of Jockey Club Youth Academy for Special Educational Needs🎧
Supported by the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Special Schools Council, the Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education at The Education University of Hong Kong successfully applied for the Chief Executive's Community Project in 2019. Generously funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the "Jockey Club Youth Academy for Special Education Needs" was established to provide post-school graduates with special educational needs opportunities for continuous learning and personal growth.
Trainees at the Youth Academy formed the "e-Orchestra," they not only learned to play music using digital instruments on iPads, but also mastered playing in harmony with fellow members, enjoying the fun of ensemble performance.

"Idol PIE" is a band from Society of Boys' Centres Shing Tak Centre School. Led by teacher, Mr. Lam Ching Fung, this youth band was founded in 2024. The original intention behind forming the band stemmed from a desire to provide students with a platform for self-expression through music. As students navigate through the musical notes, they learn to express their emotions and express their feelings, finding their own voice along the way. At the same time, participating in various performances and activities allows the students' hard work to be seen by a wider audience, helping them build self-confidence and accumulate positive experiences as well as a sense of achievement.

Founded in 2006, The Educator s’ Singers is a choral and music -sharing society for dedicated music educators. 「呀吱呀咗」合唱團是由香港新聲會於2005年成立，是香港首隊無喉者合唱團，成員全是喉癌康復者，因為頭頸科疾病而接受聲帶切除手術，術後用不同的助講儀器復聲。儘管失去聲帶，團員卻未曾失去對音樂的興趣。雖然歌聲未必完美，但這「新聲」卻能展現無喉者的活力與積極的人生觀，更體現了「自助互助」精神的重要性。

The Hong Kong New Voice Society🎧｜IG: 🎼
"The 'Mumbling Choir” was established by the Hong Kong New Voice Society in 2005. It is Hong Kong's first choir for laryngectomees. All members are throat cancer survivors who underwent vocal cord removal surgery due to head and neck diseases, and who have since regained their voices using various speech-aid devices. Despite losing their vocal cords, the members have never lost their passion for music. Although their singing may not be perfect, this 'new voice' demonstrates the vitality and positive outlook of laryngectomees, and further embodies the importance of the spirit of 'self-help and mutual aid'."

An internationally renowned harmonica soloist, Mr. Gordon Lee rose to international prominence after winning the championship at the World Harmonica Festival—often hailed as the “Olympics of the Harmonica World”—in 2017. Over the years, he has performed at prestigious venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall in New York and the MuTh Concert Hall in Vienna, and has collaborated with orchestras such as the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. In recent years, he has also dedicated himself to music education, promoting music culture, and nurturing young musical talent. From the fermentation vats of Nanchang to the kilns of Jingdezhen and the ancient lanes of Wuyuan, our six-day immersion trip was not merely a sightseeing tour, but a hands-on investigation into the ecosystem of Jiangxi’s intangible cultural heritage. We engaged with the reality that these traditions are not frozen relics of the past, but living, breathing practices undergoing modern transformation. In the window display, we showcase our oil-paper umbrellas, blue-and-white porcelain, and sketches, which serves as the creative output of that cultural investigation. The craft works on display represent our individual artistic responses to the collective cultural dialogue we experienced as a group.

香港新聲會🎧｜IG: 香港新聲會 🎼
「呀吱呀咗」合唱團是由香港新聲會於2005年成立，是香港首隊無喉者合唱團，成員全是喉癌康復者，因為頭頸科疾病而接受聲帶切除手術，術後用不同的助講儀器復聲。儘管失去聲帶，團員卻未曾失去對音樂的興趣。雖然歌聲未必完美，但這「新聲」卻能展現無喉者的活力與積極的人生觀，更體現了「自助互助」精神的重要性。

⭐️About the Performer ⭐️

The Hong Kong New Voice Society🎧｜IG: 香港新聲會 🎼
"The 'Mumbling Choir” was established by the Hong Kong New Voice Society in 2005. It is Hong Kong's first choir for laryngectomees. All members are throat cancer survivors who underwent vocal cord removal surgery due to head and neck diseases, and who have since regained their voices using various speech-aid devices. Despite losing their vocal cords, the members have never lost their passion for music. Although their singing may not be perfect, this 'new voice' demonstrates the vitality and positive outlook of laryngectomees, and further embodies the importance of the spirit of 'self-help and mutual aid'."
