Summer in Hong Kong is no longer a quiet two months at home. From Tai Tam to Tuen Mun, the city's top international schools — and a growing roster of specialist providers — throw open their campuses each June, July and August to children from all schools. For parents, that means access to world-class facilities, native-speaker teachers and a chance for your child to spend the summer building skills, friendships and confidence.
We've pulled together the most useful 2026 summer programmes we recommend to HK-Schools.com families. Each one is open to the public (not just current students of that school, unless noted), with official activity links so you can register direct.

The reserves of Hong Kong’s largest international school group have more than tripled to HK$3.75 billion (US$480.8 million) in over a decade, even as it taps different income sources to offset shrinking government subsidies, the South China Morning Post has found by reviewing the organisation’s annual reports.
The English Schools Foundation (ESF) also said in its annual report for the 2024-25 academic year that it expected increased competition for students and it would modernise its marketing strategies to attract the children of talent and investors settling in the city.
The report showed that its net assets, which matched its reserves, reached a record HK$3.75 billion, surpassing Lingnan University’s HK$2.65 billion and the Education University of Hong Kong’s HK$2.04 billion for their 2024-25 financial year ending last June.

We are pleased to announce that we will be opening a brand-new, purpose-built and state-of-the-art kindergarten in the heart of Sai Sha.
The new school, which will open in 2026, will accommodate up to 300 students across K1 and K2, offering a guaranteed pathway into Year 1 at ESF Renaissance College.
For the first time, we're aligning one of our kindergartens with a single school, providing parents with clarity and continuity throughout their child's entire educational journey.
As ESF Chief Executive Officer, Belinda Greer shares, “ESF is a world-class education system – and we believe that joining us at the earliest stage possible helps our students get off to a great start on their learning journey. That is why we invest so much effort in creating the best conditions for learning in the early years.”
