Year 4 students recently kicked off their new IPC unit, "How Humans Work!" with an exciting visit to the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences. In this historic building, they explored the evolution of medicine in Hong Kong, from traditional Chinese medicine to modern breakthroughs. They caught a glimpse of history through 1800s plague exhibits and antique medical tools, seeing how healthcare technology has transformed over the years.

It was an inspiring morning filled with hands-on learning that provided everyone a perfect introduction to a new IPC unit.

This morning at assembly, we had the chance to gather in our house teams to complete a fun House Challenge - Caring & Empathy. 'The Encouragement Express’ was an inclusive, high-energy House Challenge designed specifically to foster cross-year mentorship, emotional intelligence, and house spirit. Seeing that kind of energy and connection across the different year groups is the absolute best way to kick off the school year. This shows how awesome and supportive our community is when we all come together!

Bake Sale for Colombia Earthquake Relief

Year 6 students held a bake sale this week to raise funds for people affected by the disaster that happened in Colombia. They made traditional Colombian treats, including cinnamon rice pudding and chocolate & coconut balls. Thank you to all the families who supported this initative. Your generous donations will help provide emergency medical care, deliver drinking water and shelter materials, and assist in reconnecting separated families. All proceeds will go directly to the Colombian National Red Cross. Thank you to the Year 6s for your kindness and effort.
