特別的科學課｜校園內的天宮課堂 🚀

這堂科學課，教室不只在校園，更延伸到浩瀚太空！

同學們透過直播，親眼觀看香港航天員黎家盈與航天員朱楊柱、張志遠在天宮空間站執行任務。他們除了分享太空生活的點滴，更在微重力環境下進行科學實驗，讓同學親眼見證地球上難以觀察到的奇妙現象。🧪✨

這堂別開生面的「天宮課堂」，不但讓同學認識中國航天科技的發展與成就，更感受到國家科技進步所帶來的驕傲與自豪。

An Extraordinary Science Class | "Tiangong Class" on Campus 🚀

This extraordinary science class took learning far beyond the school campus, right out into the vastness of outer space!
Through a live broadcast, students watched Hong Kong astronaut Dr Lai Ka-ying, alongside astronauts Dr Zhu Yangzhu and Zhang Zhiyuan, carry out their mission aboard the Tiangong Space Station. In addition to sharing glimpses of their daily lives in space, they also conducted fascinating science experiments in a microgravity environment, allowing students to witness amazing phenomena that are difficult to observe on Earth . 🧪✨

This unique "Tiangong Class" not only deepened students' understanding of the country’s advances and remarkable achievements in manned space technology, but also inspired a strong sense of pride and honor in our nation’s technological progress.

敬師日活動｜一份水果，一份心意 🍎

家長教師會於9月8日舉辦敬師日活動，向辛勤教導學生的老師送上滿滿的祝福與心意。

活動中，家長於早會上分享尊敬師長的故事，讓同學明白尊師重道的重要性。隨後，家長特別為全體教師準備了健康又充滿心意的水果禮物。

這份心意最後由學生代表親手送到老師手中，一份小小的水果，承載著家長及同學對老師的感謝與敬意。

Teacher Appreciation Day Event | A Gift of Fruit, A Heartfelt Gesture 🍎

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) organized a Teacher Appreciation Day event on September 8th, sending warm blessings and heartfelt appreciation to the teachers who work tirelessly to guide and educate our students.

Parents specially prepared healthy, thoughtful fruit gifts for all teaching staff. Student representatives personally presented the gifts to the teachers, and even a small piece of fruit carried the immense gratitude and respect from both parents and students.

小一體驗日2026 －「丘」秀學習成果展

本校於9月12日（六）舉行小一體驗日2026，以「丘」秀學習成果展為主題，讓準小一學生及家長親身感受丘小多元、精彩的學習生活。

活動首先由本校老師帶領幼稚園同學參與不同體驗課，包括古詩文、英文AI、科學實驗及體育運動人工智能課堂，讓小朋友在玩樂中學習。

其後，家長及同學於禮堂聆聽校長、家長及校友分享，並欣賞學生精彩表演，現場座無虛席，氣氛熱鬧！

最後，大家自由探索校園，在歡笑聲中度過充實愉快的一天。😊

全新時間表｜上午核心課堂．下午拓展課程

為落實「善用學時、優化課堂、創造空間」的理念，本校由本學年起優化時間表，推行「上午核心課堂、下午多元學習拓展課程」。

下午拓展課包括生命成長課、綜合課、循環課、閱讀課及多元智能課，透過體驗、探索及互動學習，強化價值觀教育、延伸學科學習，並涵蓋人工智能、創意、體育、藝術及社交協作等範疇，讓學生按興趣發展潛能。

本學年上、下學期更增設「學習周」，以多元學習活動拓闊學生視野，促進德、智、體、群、美均衡發展，培養主動學習及終身學習的能力。

New Timetable

To put into practice our philosophy of "making good use of learning time and creating space to foster whole-person development," our school has optimized the timetable starting this academic year. We have implemented a model of "core classes in the morning, diversified extended learning programs in the afternoon."

The afternoon extended programs include Life Growth classes, Integrated classes, Rotation classes, Reading classes, and Multiple Intelligences classes. Through experiential, exploratory and interactive learning, these classes strengthen values education, extend subject learning, and address areas such as artificial intelligence, creativity, sports, arts, and social collaboration,
helping students to develop their potential based on their interests.

In addition, "Learning Weeks" have been added to both the first and second semesters of this academic year to broaden students' horizons through diversified learning activities, support balanced development in moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic areas, and cultivate the habits of proactive and lifelong learning.

新學年正式開始！老師和同學們帶着興奮又期待的心情回到校園，校園再次充滿歡笑聲與朝氣，迎接新的一年。

開學日當然少不了開學禮！校長在典禮上借用以物理原理振翅起飛的紙蝴蝶，勉勵同學以本年度德育主題「業精於勤，克己力行」為目標，明白成功源於勤奮與堅持，並時刻自我要求、踏實行動，勇敢迎接新學年的每一項挑戰。

New School Year, New Goals!

The new academic year has officially begun! Teachers and students returned to campus with excitement and anticipation, filling the grounds once again with laughter and vitality as they welcomed what’s ahead.

No first day of school would be complete without an opening ceremony! During the event, Principal CHUNG used a paper butterfly—crafted to flap its wings and soar using principles of physics—to encourage students to embrace this year’s moral education theme: "Excellence Comes from Diligence; Self-Discipline Drives Action."

Our principal reminded everyone that success is built through hard work and perseverance. Students were encouraged to set high standards for themselves, take grounded action, and face every challenge in the coming school year with courage.

26–27 小一適應課程及小一迎新日（Part 2）

為協助小一學生適應校園環境，熟悉小學生活，本校特別舉辦「小一適應課程」及「小一迎新日」，讓家長和同學提前走進丘小校園，認識學校，感受校園生活的精彩與樂趣。

活動期間，家長及學生透過參與家長講座及班本活動，逐步認識學校的學習生活和校園環境。小朋友亦有機會與老師及同學互動，在輕鬆愉快的氣氛下建立對小學生活的期待與信心。
