Beginner Course:
1.

Basic knowledge including mixing theory, rhythm understanding, beat counting.
2. Introduction of a DJ setup, basic overview of turntables, CDJs, mixers, effectors and headphones
3. Basic techniques of turntablism.
4. Introduction of digital DJ, Serato and Traktor.
5. Mixing two songs with “Dropping on the one” method.
6. Beatmatching skills including “pushing and pulling” and “the halfway method”



初級課程介紹:
1. DJ基礎知識包括混音原理、音樂節奏、計算拍子等
2. DJ器材介紹，黑膠唱盤、CD唱盤、混音機、變化器、耳筒等
3. 以黑膠唱盤控制音樂
4. 數碼DJ包括Serato及Traktor軟件
5. 以“Dropping on the one”作混音
6. 對拍技術包括“pushing and pulling”及 “the halfway method”

Students can choose Mixing stream or Scratching Stream after completed DJ Beginnner Course.
學員完成初級課程可選擇Mixing或Scratching課程

Mixing course level 1
Students will be mastered mixing songs with advanced techniques and musical arrangements such as:
1. Advanced mixing techniques e.g. "Cutting Points", Looping, etc
2. Song structure analysis
3. Music genre analysis
4. Advanced beatmatching
5. "Phrase Mixing" and song transitions
6. Managing cue points
7. Intermediate features of CDJs

一級混音課程
完成初級課程完成後，學員可進入一級混音課程。學員可掌握基本混音技術及樂理，包括
1. "Cut points"，"Looping"技巧
2. 音樂結構分析
3. 音樂類型分析
4. 專業對拍技術
5."Phrase Mixing"及樂曲過渡技巧
6. Cue points管理
7. 掌握CDJ功能

Mixing course level 2
Students will be mastered techniques for making short mixtapes, with basic live scratching tricks.
1. Intermediate mixing techniques, including
“Drop Cut”, “Stop & Drop”, “Power Down”, “Backspin”, etc
2. "Looping" and "layering" techniques
3. Advanced CDJ features
4. Freestyle group jam sessions

二級混音課程
學員可掌握製作混音錄音及基本現場Scratching技巧，包括
1. 中級混音技術，包括“Drop Cut,” “Stop & Drop,” “Power Down,”, “Backspin” 等
2. "Looping" 及 "layering" 技巧
3. 掌握高級CDJ功能
4. 即興混音表演

Mixing course level 3
Students will be mastered techniques for making full length mixtapes, their mixing skills will be well polished up to professional standard.
1. Professional mixing techniques, including "EQing", filtering, applications of effectors, etc.
2. Harmonic mixing
3. Effective organising music library
4. Flow building in DJ sets
5. Crowd reading, piloting vibe on the dance floor
6. Recording and promoting mixtapes

三級混音課程
學員可掌握製作完整混音錄音，而學員混音技巧亦會更進一步達至專業水平。
1. 專業混音技術，包括"EQing", filtering, 效果器使用等
2. 和聲混音
3. 有效管理音樂庫
4. 建立及設計"Flow"
5. 了解觀眾，控制舞池氣氛
6. 製作及發佈mixtapes
