The School of Business (SBUS) at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) proudly welcomed the inaugural cohort of the Master of Business Administration (in Chinese) Programme at the Orientation Dinner and Launch Ceremony held on 29 August 2026 at The Rosewood Hong Kong. The event marked a significant milestone for the School as it officially launched HSUHKโ€™s first MBA programme and welcomed nearly 220 students to the University community. ๐ŸŽŠ

We were honoured to have members of HSUHKโ€™s senior management, faculty, distinguished guests and students join this special occasion. The evening was filled with meaningful exchanges and lively interactions, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere throughout the celebration. ๐ŸŽ‰

Professor Joshua Mok, President of HSUHK; Professor David Tse, Acting Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) of HSUHK; Professor Sam Park, Dean of SBUS; and Professor Victor Lau, Associate Dean (Taught Postgraduate Programmes) of SBUS and Programme Director of the MBA (in Chinese), delivered welcome addresses. They shared insights on leadership, lifelong learning, innovation, and the opportunities and responsibilities of future business leaders in the AI era. ๐Ÿš€

The event also featured a robot performance integrating Tai Chi, traditional Chinese culture and AI elements, a magic show, and an exciting lucky draw, adding energy and excitement to the evening. โœจ

The School of Business (SBUS) at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) successfully hosted the 15th Junzi Corporation Awards Presentation Ceremony on 27 July, recognising 34 organisations across a total of 36 awards for their unwavering commitment to ethical business practices. Alongside the presentations, HSUHK officially unveiled the HSUHK Business Ethics Index 2026, which climbed to 67.2, extending its steady upward trajectory in recent years.๐Ÿ“ˆ๐ŸŽŠ

This yearโ€™s ceremony marked an all-time high in participation, with the number of applicant organisations surging by more than 30% year-on-year. The robust growth reflects growing recognition among Hong Kong enterprises that ethical conduct and corporate trustworthiness are core to long-term competitiveness. To broaden the Awardsโ€™ social reach and impact, HSUHK introduced two new categories in 2026: the Junzi Corporation Award (Social Enterprise) and Junzi Corporation Award (Charitable Organisation).๐Ÿ† These additions complement the long-standing Junzi Corporation Award and Junzi Corporation Award (Small and Medium Enterprise), and honour mission-driven entities that advance social good and community development.

In total, 34 outstanding organisations were honoured across the four categories: 12 recipients of the Junzi Corporation Award, 13 of the Junzi Corporation Award (Small and Medium Enterprise), 5 of the Junzi Corporation Award (Social Enterprise), and 4 of the Junzi Corporation Award (Charitable Organisation). ๐ŸŽ‰

Participants explored key themes such as entrepreneurship, product innovation, venture capital, and emerging technologies, learning directly from distinguished industry leaders including Hap Klopp, Gery Gutnik, Jonathan Reichental, Kurt Keilhacker, Rebecca Tower, Dr. Mark Cannice, and David Epstein.

The programme also featured visits to leading organisations such as the Google campus, Plug and Play, Verizon Innovation Lab, and Plaud AI, offering students first-hand insight into Silicon Valleyโ€™s vibrant startup ecosystem.

The School of Business, HSUHK successfully held its inaugural Alumni Gala Dinner on 15 May 2026 at Harbour Grand Hong Kong. Officiated by Dr the Hon Moses Cheng, University Council Chairman, and Professor Simon Ho, University President, the grand gathering brought together over 300 alumni, senior management, faculty and industry guests. During the event, SBUS Dean Professor Sam Park unveiled the Schoolโ€™s Vision 2030 and officially launched the SBUS Development Fund, aiming to boost academic advancement, industry collaboration and holistic talent development.
