OSA holds a series of workshops with various cultural themes during semester - they are totally FREE and welcome ALL. If you are eager to immerse yourself in ❥exotic languages, make ❥folk handicrafts or ❥regional snacks, learn about ❥global issues and make ❥foreign friends, you shouldn't miss them!

Firsthand sharing by Somali guests
Date: 14 Sept 2018 (Fri) | Time: 5:30pm-7:00pm
From Black Hawk Down to Captain Phillips, Somalia has been in the international limelight for the wrong reasons for almost two decades. In this session, our guests will share the origins of piracy and the reason pirates are regarded as the ‘coast guards’ of Somalia. Be treated to the delicacy of the mind and discover why Somalia is known as the Nation of Poets.
