Through rigorous rounds of assessment, Tong Hiu Ching and Cheung Ka Yui were honored among the Top 10 Shatin Outstanding Students in both the Junior and Senior Sections respectively, while Chan Hoi Cheung (S096) demonstrated remarkable excellence by advancing to the finals and receiving the Merit Award (Senior Section). Representatives from various clubs, academic societies, sports teams, and interest groups took turns taking the stage to showcase their unique programs, demonstrating the exciting possibilities awaiting our junior students. Our classrooms were buzzing with lively dialogue this week as our two Native English Speaking (NET) tutors—who are stationed at our school across the entire school year—engaged students in dynamic, small-group speaking sessions. With our tutors on campus day in and day out, students enjoy an immersive, supportive environment where they can naturally sharpen their pronunciation, expand everyday vocabulary, and practice authentic communication. This morning, our students tuned in to the exciting "Tiangong Class – Hong Kong & Macao Special Session" live broadcast directly from the China Space Station! 🛰️🌏

Guided by the Shenzhou-23 crew—Commander Dr. Zhu Yangzhu, Astronaut Mr. Zhang Zhiyuan, and Hong Kong’s very own Payload Specialist, Dr. Lai Ka-ying—our students had an incredible time learning about life aboard the space station. Through engaging live scientific experiments and real-time Earth-to-space interactions with HK students, they discovered fascinating space fun facts and core STEM concepts in microgravity. 🔬✨

It was an inspiring morning of science, curiosity, and exploration that brought aerospace dreams closer to our classrooms! 🌌👏

We are truly privileged and grateful to receive generous sponsorship from Sun Hung Kai Properties this academic year to further enrich our campus English learning environment in meaningful collaboration with the Chatteris Educational Foundation. Through this wonderful partnership, two dynamic Native English-speaking Ttutors have joined our teaching team to assist in daily lesson delivery, expanding our native English-speaking team to five! Students are having a wonderful time bringing the colourful characters and lively story to life on stage, and their enjoyment shines through in every performance. Beyond the fun and entertainment, the musical has also become a meaningful journey of growth, helping students build self-confidence, develop teamwork, and discover the treasure of their own strengths and talents. Our recent student exchange tour to Wuhan and Changsha was a rewarding and eye-opening experience that combined cultural exploration, academic exchange, and insight into our country’s rapid development. During our visit to our sister school, we built meaningful connections through activities such as playing volleyball together, which fostered teamwork and friendship, and practising Chinese calligraphy, where we appreciated the artistry and cultural significance behind each stroke. Beyond the school visit, we explored historical landmarks that deepened our understanding of the rich heritage and development of our nation, bringing history to life in a vivid and memorable way. We also visited an advanced AI centre, where we witnessed cutting-edge technologies and learned how innovation is shaping the future, broadening our perspective on the role of artificial intelligence in modern society.
