At the World Finals, our KTS Odyssey of the Mind team is fully immersed in an exciting schedule—practicing and presenting their long-term problem through creative storytelling, performance, and innovative props, while also preparing for the spontaneous problem that tests their quick thinking and teamwork. Beyond the competition, they are exploring the International Marketplace, attending inspiring NASA science talks, and connecting with teams from around the world. A highlight of the OM experience is the tradition of pin trading, where students exchange unique pins as a symbol of friendship and cultural exchange. The journey will conclude with the much-anticipated award ceremony, celebrating their hard work and creativity on the global stage.

Our Odyssey of the Mind team is representing Hong Kong as one of the winning teams and has now arrived in the United States to compete in the World Finals. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork on an international stage. Beyond the competition, they are also taking part in meaningful cultural exchange experiences, connecting with students from around the world. We wish our team the very best of luck—go KTS!

Today, they were invited to attend the award ceremony and present their winning idea, “Dancing Mahjong,” to Mr Eric Chan 政務司司長陳國基先生, Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong, and Dr Peter Wong Tung-shun 香港上海滙豐銀行非執行主席王冬勝先生, non-executive Chairman of HSBC Hong Kong. By combining AI technology with mahjong, their product encourages the elderly to exercise while enjoying a familiar and meaningful game. This remarkable achievement highlights our students’ creativity, innovation, and social awareness, and it is also strong proof of the growing maturity and impact of our INNOMaster curriculum.

Huge congratulations to our outstanding Red Cross team for clinching the Nursing Champion title at the East New Territories competition — their expertise, quick thinking, and teamwork saved the day and made us incredibly proud! Extra shout-out to our student Zhou Hei Yin who was awarded 模擬情景賽最佳隊長 (Best Team Leader in the simulated scenario competition) — another well-deserved achievement!
