26/27 Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony of the new academic year took place on 1st September, marking an inspiring and energetic start to the term.

Our Head Prefect, TSANG Ho Yi Joanne of 5C, delivered an engaging speech addressing the student body, setting a tone of enthusiasm and unity. Our Principal, Mr. LIE, took the stage to warmly welcome our new members—including new staff, new students, and our AFS exchange student, Hazel. A special highlight of the ceremony was the proud recognition of our top DSE achievers of 2026, whose hard work and academic excellence serve as a shining beacon of inspiration for us all.

Let us all carry the spirit of ""Strive with Integrity"", the theme of the school year, into our classrooms, sports fields, and everyday commitments, making this academic year a remarkable and rewarding chapter for everyone.

🌟 Smooth Transitions & Big Smiles at Our F.1 Summer Bridging Programme! 📚✨

From August 17 to 21, our newest Jockey Club Ti-I College family members stepped onto campus for an action-packed week of learning, bonding, and discovery! Mini-adventures through campus games helped them explore every corner of their new home, while inspiring workshops encouraged self-awareness and positive thinking.

By jumping into interactive subject lessons, our Form 1 students got a taste of the secondary school learning style—building essential skills in communication, collaboration, and self-management along the way. Most importantly, they made lifelong friends and gained the confidence to tackle the academic year ahead! 🤝💡

本校於 8月17日至21日 舉行了中一銜接週。新生們在一連串多元化的活動中積極投入，透過遊戲，大家除了探索校園各個角落，亦在活動中增強自我認識與正向思維。而不同科目的課堂，也讓同學逐步適應中學的學習模式。 在這一週裏，同學們不僅建立了新友誼，更培養了溝通能力、合作技巧及自我管理等重要技能，踏出中學生活的第一步，為新學年的挑戰做好準備。

第五天行程，沙溪古鎮，原始而純樸，保留著古村落的特色。而旁邊的玉津橋，是茶馬古道上南來北往的必經要道。古鎮的靜謐，讓同學享受悠閑的一天。

行程的第六天：雲南省博物館，館藏文物豐富，雖然時間有限，但同學們仍得以認識雲南從遠古到近代的歷史。隨後走訪官渡古鎮，在購物與體驗中感受地方風土。最後一站斗南鮮花市場，花海壯觀，批發市場的運作令人驚嘆；同學們也買花送給家人，為六日旅程劃上圓滿句號。

一碗正宗的過橋米線，展開第三天的旅程。這一天，同學們化身納西人，走進民族的日常。製作喜餅，學習書寫東巴文字，欣賞民族白沙細樂，大家都樂在其中。文化不經意就在味道、文字和樂音之間體現。

行程的第四天，同學們早上登上玉龍雪山雲杉坪，雲霧縹緲，草原舒展，牛羊悠然其間；而山麓的白水河和藍月谷，水潭碧如琉璃，別有沉靜之美。午後走進麗江古城，青石街道與民居商店並列，歷史、人情與風貌就此交織。

同學們大清早啟程前往雲南，展開六天的文化體驗之旅。抵達昆明後隨即走訪老街建築、特色店舖與名人故居。雖然一直下着綿綿細雨，卻為旅程增添幾分詩意和情趣。

在行程的第二天，雨過天晴，天空漸朗。
蓼藍染缸展開了一天的序曲，綁紮、浸染，一塊小方巾承載白族傳統的巧思。
黃昏的洱海，湖天一色，以湛藍洗滌心境。
入夜後的大理古城，華燈映照古牆，跳菜晚餐伴隨熱烈的歌舞而至。第二天的旅程在詩意中綻放活力。

Bringing our school theme, "Create Our Future", to the stage, this year's Inter-house Drama Competition was nothing short of spectacular. Enhanced by a state-of-the-art audio and lighting system, each house delivered a brilliantly immersive experience that kept the audience completely captivated.

F5 Art students explore the future of Design at PolyU

Our Form 5 VA students recently visited PolyU Design to grab some fresh inspiration for their DSE portfolios.

Stepping into the futuristic Innovation Tower, they first checked out the Material Resource Centre, getting a hands-on look at wild new materials like smart textiles and eco-plastics. The highlight was definitely the Graduation Show. Seeing how the university students used product design, graphics and tech to solve real-world problems was an absolute eye-opener. It showed our students that design is about more than just making things look pretty—it’s about making a difference.
