HKBU CIE Sustainability Ambassador Sustainability Ambassador Students will also attempt to outreach the wider communities to raise awareness and to support sustainability initiatives.

Sustainability Ambassador(STA) is a student society with students participating to diverse activities and projects aimed to engage CIE students to understand the importance of sustainability and to encourage people to practice sustainable lifestyle and reduce their ecological footprint.

2017年已過去將近7個月，然而人類所消耗資源，將會在下個星期三（8月2日）到達「生態超載日」（Earth Overshoot Day）。過了這一日，人類本年度所消耗的資源，將會超越我們地球每年可再生的資源。照目前消耗速率，人類將需要1.7個地球才能滿足我們所需。

將會改建為人工泳灘的大埔龍尾灘，是眾多海洋生物繁殖和育養場所，守護龍尾大聯盟指出，最近數月有不少海星繁殖，年幼海星滿佈沙質的潮間帶。另外不同種類的魚蝦蟹亦在龍尾灘繁衍下一代，包括久未發現的「頑強黎明蟹」，只見到雄性。另外今年有特別多海牛聚集在龍尾灘繁殖，數量最多是黑色的「煙枝鰓海牛」，幾乎佈滿整個灘...

中文大學已成為發泡膠回收計劃支持機構的一份子喇， 校園內的發泡膠回收籠位於下列地點：

- Madam SH Ho Hall RCP 何善衡夫人宿舍 垃圾站
- University Science Centre RCP 科學館 垃圾站
- Sui-Loong Pao Building RCP 兆龍樓 垃圾站
- Leung Kau Kui Building RCP 梁銶琚樓 垃圾站
- New Asia College Bus Stop RCP 新亞校巴站 垃圾站
- Shaw College RCP 逸夫書院 垃圾站
- University. Residence No. 10 RCP 教職員宿舍第十苑 垃圾站

可回收的發泡膠種類：
- 發泡聚苯乙烯（塑膠編碼6，簡稱PS）產品例子：發泡膠板、包裝物料、即棄發泡膠食物餐盒、填充粒
- 發泡聚乙烯（塑膠編碼4，簡稱LDPE）產品例子：、蔬果包裝物料、電腦相關產品的包裝物料、珍珠棉、填充粒

** 不可回收的發泡膠種類：
受污染的食物餐盒、發泡膠展板和沙發/床墊填充泡沫

發泡膠回收的步驟:
- 拆除發泡膠上非發泡膠的包裝、膠帶、標籤貼紙、卡紙等；
- 確保發泡膠乾淨並未受到廚餘、餐具、其他垃圾等污染，如發泡膠用來盛載過食物，請先洗 乾淨才回收)；
- 把發泡膠放入發泡膠回收籠。小塊的填充物料須放入密封的膠袋內。
