⚫⚪Why do you want to play Go❓🤔
💭Want to challenge yourself?🔥
Go is easy to learn, but hard to master (most likely impossible for humans)🤖. The game is so challenging that for a long time, even computer programmes were no match for a human Pro player, until Google Deepmind developed AlphaGo with the techniques of deep learning and Monte Carlo tree search. AlphaGo shook the world of Go players by winning 5:0 against European Champion Fan Hui and 4:1 against world top player Sedol Lee in 2015 and 2016. Ever since, countries developed their own AI, which turned out to be great for training.
💭Go is good for your brain!🧠🆙
▪️ Playing Go involves memorisation, logical reasoning, pattern recognition and imagination, which significantly activate your right brain. 🧩
▪️ Research suggests that playing Go can to some extent alleviate mental decline and reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. 🤓
💭Playing go as recreational activity⏳
Go is a very good time killer. The time it takes to finish a game is highly flexible. You can adjust the time limit to seconds per move, finish the game in minutes, or you can take your time to finish it in days. ⚡️❓😴❓
💭Go as a lifetime interest and companion💯
The 19x19 board gives you countless combinations and possibilities. You will never encounter the same game twice. 🖤🤍

AlphaGo is the first computer program to defeat a professional human Go player, a landmark achievement that experts believe was a decade ahead of its time.
