🏺The Sculptors - Summer Pottery Camp 2026

These 5 day pottery workshops will introduce a range of basic pottery, hand building and carving techniques. Children will learn how to build different forms of vessels and sculptures by hand based on their own interests.

For children who love sensory play and want to experience the whole creative process from wheel throwing to trimming to decorating their pottery with the Sgraffito carving technique, these workshops will calm their mind and keep their hands busy! 🙌

These pottery camps will be held on two locations in July and August:

1) Primary Art Room, Hong Kong Academy, Sai Kung
Age: 6-13
Date: 27-31 July
Time: 10am-12pm
*HKA students will receive a 10% discount for joining this camp.

2) Twiga Pottery Studio, Tai Mong Tsai Village, Sai Kung
Age: 5-16
Date: 3-7 August
Time: 10am-12pm

This coming June, I will be collaborating with another Dance Movement Therapist, Ms.Teresa P**n to explore our feelings around internal exhaustion through the use of clay and whole body movement.

"Internal exhaustion is an invisible crack; clay is a gentle mend."

Focus on connecting the human body with clay. Using whole body movement and tactile interaction with clay to express and transform internal experience of emotions through dance, mark-making and a dialogue with the emerging clay sculpture. This bilingual workshop might involve both group and individual activities.

Come join our community art jam on Mother's day! Draw a fun portrait of your loved ones and make a simple and light-hearted paper vase to brighten up your home🌻
Life can get so busy we forget to pay attention to the loving people around us. Drawing a portrait gives us time to look closely at a familiar face and enjoy being in each other's presence. You don't need to be good at drawing or painting, just come with your family and friends and create something together 🖼️

Join our April community art jam where you can try throwing pots on the wheel! No firing, no rules — just a fun time to explore playing with clay casually. Perfect for all ages and curious makers!

Date: 25 April 2026 (Saturday)
Time: 2-4pm
Fee: $50 per person (throw 1-2 pots within 15 mins)

*Build a group sculpture with clay pots collectively before the recycling process.

It's time for our March Community Art Jam! Come join us for a morning of messy play with clay! Dig your hands into piles of clay and let your imagination run wild!

Whether you roll, pinch, coil, or sculpt, there is something magical waiting to be made. Forget the tasks and just see what your hands want to make 🙌

This is a space for everyone — toddlers, kids, grown-ups, and grandparents. Come alone, come together, come curious!
