Hi all! Father's day is approaching and there will be a community art jam for painting and doodling your own caps for kids and families at the Twiga Pottery Studio.

Time: 3-5pm

These workshops are suitable for children with ASD and ADHD who enjoy tactile play and making art freely with clay. All clay sessions will be facilitated with a focus on tactile play, body movements and self expression that support individual style and sensory needs.

*All sessions will be facilitated by a certified art therapist, who will guide and assist the creative process in a small group setting.

๐ŸบThe Sculptors - Ceramic & Pottery Camp 2026

These 5 day hand building workshops will introduce a range of sculpting, slip painting and carving techniques. Children will create different interest-based projects including tiles, pinched vessels and clay figurines by hand.

For children who enjoy story telling and making 3D art through clay, these workshops will stimulate their creativity while keeping their hands busy! ๐Ÿ™Œ

These pottery camps will be held on two locations in July:

1) School Camp (Open to public): Primary Art Room, Renaissance College HK, Ma On Shan, N.T. Renaissance College
Age: 6-13
Date: 13-17 July
Time: 10am-12pm

2) Studio Camp: Twiga Pottery Studio, Tai Mong Tsai Village, Sai Kung
Age: 5-16
Date: 20-24 July
Time: 10am-12pm

๐ŸบThe Sculptors - Summer Pottery Camp 2026

These 5 day pottery workshops will introduce a range of basic pottery, hand building and carving techniques. Children will learn how to build different forms of vessels and sculptures by hand based on their own interests.

For children who love sensory play and want to experience the whole creative process from wheel throwing to trimming to decorating their pottery with the Sgraffito carving technique, these workshops will calm their mind and keep their hands busy! ๐Ÿ™Œ

These pottery camps will be held on two locations in July and August:

1) Primary Art Room, Hong Kong Academy, Sai Kung
Age: 6-13
Date: 27-31 July
Time: 10am-12pm
*HKA students will receive a 10% discount for joining this camp.

2) Twiga Pottery Studio, Tai Mong Tsai Village, Sai Kung

This coming June, I will be collaborating with another Dance Movement Therapist, Ms.Teresa P**n to explore our feelings around internal exhaustion through the use of clay and whole body movement.

"Internal exhaustion is an invisible crack; clay is a gentle mend."

Focus on connecting the human body with clay. Using whole body movement and tactile interaction with clay to express and transform internal experience of emotions through dance, mark-making and a dialogue with the emerging clay sculpture. This bilingual workshop might involve both group and individual activities.
