🌟 A full house for our latest W Parlour with Coral Puig Garrigó and Veronique Lafon-Vinais, and one of those sessions where the audience had almost as much to share as our brilliant speakers.

💥 3 insights we took from the conversation:

1. Our biology has always been part of risk-taking.
2. The brain loves anticipation.
3. The body can influence the decisions we think are rational.

With questions, personal experiences and different perspectives coming from across the room, the discussion moved well beyond markets into how gloriously complex human decision-making really is.

Thanks so much, Coral and Veronique for such an engaging and lively conversation!

Stay tuned for our next event!

Last week, we hosted our 7th edition of W Parlour exploring how Traditional Chinese Medicine can offer practical perspectives on longevity, recovery, and everyday health.

A big thank you to 𝗚𝗶𝗴𝗶 𝗡𝗴𝗮𝗻 | 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 , for an engaging session that connected centuries-old principles with many of the questions we face today.

Some of the ideas that sparked the most discussion included:

🎋 Longevity begins long before illness.
TCM places prevention at the centre, encouraging us to notice small changes in energy, sleep, digestion, and mood before they develop into bigger health concerns.

🎋 Health is dynamic rather than fixed.
What supports our wellbeing changes with the seasons, our age, our environment, and even the time of day. The goal is not optimisation at all costs, but maintaining balance as life changes.

🎋 Daily rhythms matter as much as daily choices.
When we eat, sleep, move, and rest influences health just as much as what we eat or how much we exercise, reflecting a growing overlap between TCM principles and modern research on circadian rhythms.

🎋 Small interventions, consistently applied, have lasting value.
From warming foods and seasonal nutrition to simple acupressure techniques, many practices discussed were intentionally accessible enough to become part of everyday life.

The session also moved beyond theory. Participants had the opportunity to practise key acupressure points together, learn how to locate them correctly, and leave with practical techniques they could immediately incorporate into their daily routines.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another inspiring W Parlour morning. It was wonderful to see so many thoughtful questions and conversations continue long after the session had finished.

Stay tuned for our next W Parlour edition on 26 August!

Humans have always been collectors.

Long before galleries and auctions, we gathered objects that helped us survive, reminded us of important moments, or simply brought us joy. That instinct hasn’t disappeared. Today, we collect for memory, curiosity, beauty, and meaning.

That was at the heart of our latest W Parlour conversation with Bonnie Lau and Ingrid Chen.

Through personal stories of how they each started collecting, Bonnie and Ingrid showed that there is no single path into the art world. Bonnie shared her perspective from years of working across galleries, museums, and art education, while Ingrid spoke about making Hong Kong’s art scene more accessible through FindArt HK and helping more people discover local artists.

Thank you to Bonnie, Ingrid, and everyone who joined us for another thoughtful evening at W Parlour.

We recently hosted our fourth W Parlour session focused on how tokenization is restructuring financial assets, from real estate to private funds. With Hong Kong rapidly advancing its regulatory framework, the city is now at the centre of this shift toward digital ownership and market accessibility.

Amy Zhang led a sharp discussion with Musheer Ahmed, who provided expert clarity on the technical and regulatory realities of the region.

🌟 Key Takeaways:

💥 Democratization: Tokenization enables fractional ownership, allowing a broader range of participants to access previously restricted investment opportunities.

💥 Hong Kong’s Role: Recent local developments and regulatory clarity are essential for integrating digital units into traditional capital markets.

💥 Awareness Building: Technology alone is not enough; there is a critical need for market education to bridge the gap between innovation and widespread adoption.

Musheer is arguably the most knowledgeable expert in this space, and the high level of audience engagement filled with technical and strategic questions underscored the importance of these developments for the local ecosystem.

Tokenization is beginning to reshape how assets are structured, owned, and accessed. From real estate to funds and alternative investments, financial assets are increasingly being broken into digital units that can be more easily transferred, traded, and distributed.

In conversation with Amy Zhang, our expert Musheer Ahmed will share insights from his experience working across traditional finance and emerging asset classes, and how tokenization is starting to influence the structure and accessibility of financial markets.
