Every Crafts & Yaps starts the same way: a table full of materials and a room full of strangers.

What we loved about this one was the challenge. Some of you said the knots had defeated you. Others picked it up as if they’d been in Girl Scouts forever. For us, this is the beauty of Crafts & Yaps. You don’t always get it, let alone get it right. And that’s okay.

It’s not about perfection. It’s not about it getting it perfectly right the first time. It’s about letting yourself try, learn something new, and make mistakes.

There’s no right or wrong way to learn. Learning is different for everybody. That’s what we love about Crafts & Yaps. There’s no template, there is only the decision to try.

Thank you all for showing up, giving it a go, and being our guinea pigs as we try something new!

We’re often conditioned to wait for someone else to fix what’s broken: in our homes, our environments, and our daily routines. But taking your environment into your own hands is one of the more powerful and grounding forms of self-care available to us.

You don’t need an entire workshop to start. You don’t need any tools. Realistically, you need Youtube & the decision that you won’t live with it anymore.

If you’re not a Youtube-learner, no problem, we got you covered. Explore DIY, Repair & Restoration Classes with us. We’ll help you build confidence, one fix at a time.
