The Asia Leadership Roundtable 2026

Our College has the privilege of welcoming 19 distinguished scholars from around the world, including Australia, South Africa, Thailand, Russia, and Jordan, to visit us and share their insights with our teachers and students. As part of the activities of the Asia Leadership Roundtable 2026, organized by The Education University of Hong Kong, the programme brought us together for meaningful engagement.

During the school tour and sharing sessions, we all enjoyed the experience and learned from one another in a warm and vibrant atmosphere. More importantly, we listened to the scholars’ perspectives on global education development and exchanged ideas with enthusiasm. Undoubtedly, our students and teachers were inspired, and the discussions aligned strongly with our Future Learning Curriculum—helping us grow into confident global citizens. It’s truly an invaluable experience for us.💙💚

Inter-House Football Competitions⚽️

The Inter-House Football event in May brought our houses together for thrilling matches and great sportsmanship. Overall Results: Champion: Red ; 1st Runner-Up: Blue; 2nd Runner-Up: Green; 3rd Runner-Up: Yellow. Congratulations to all houses for an outstanding performance and unforgettable teamwork!👏

Tuesday Assembly

Over the past year, our College initiated a new task in our curriculum: Global Competency Education, in which Junior Form students can choose their favourite subjects to attend. One of these is “Act I”: Introduction to Drama.

The S1 students in this course finally showcased their product and put on a show for their schoolmates yesterday. Their amazing performance drew everyone’s attention, and they received a big round of applause.

Besides the drama show, Tuesday’s assembly also recognized students who completed the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), as well as students who achieved outstanding results in the Inter-school English Speech Festival and debate competitions. Last but not least, the PTA presented gifts to teachers. What a fruitful assembly!👏👏👏

Tabula — Notre-Dame de Paris Reconstruction Visual Identity Workshop

Last Saturday, selected S3–S5 Visual Arts students attended a design workshop led by world-class French creative designer, Mr. Laurent Ungerer, Chief Visual Identity Designer for the Notre-Dame de Paris Reconstruction Project.

The workshop provided an invaluable international cultural experience and deep insights into professional graphic design. Students explored modern technological tools, while also learning the importance of human craftsmanship, artistic intuition, and creative empathy in preserving historical heritage.

Champion for the Boys C Grade Football Team

With a late goal scored by Matthew Kong (S2), our Boys C Grade Football Team clinched the Championship in the Inter-school Football Competition (D3K2). What an amazing ending to the 2025–2026 Sports Season!

Not only to the football team members, but also to the efforts of all the sports team members—we truly appreciate your hard work. Take what we have learned from sports—perseverance, hard work, and teamwork—and apply it to other areas of life, making a bright and successful future for yourselves.💙💚

Cultural Fest Assembly

Every year, the Cultural Fest is an exciting highlight at DLKP. The College is truly a mini community of nations, with around 20% of our students coming from all over the world. Through this event, we learn the importance of respect, celebrate cultural diversity, and build understanding among students from different backgrounds.

More importantly, the Cultural Fest Assembly helps create a global learning environment where students can connect with one another, broaden their perspectives, and become global citizens.🌏

National Education Week

The fruitful and educative National Education Week concluded successfully with a Sichuan Opera face-changing performance last Friday. The amazing atmosphere brought much laughter and enjoyment to both teachers and students. The performance not only showcased the charm of Chinese traditional culture, but also encouraged students to appreciate its artistry and significance.

Apart from the opera show, the week featured a variety of engaging activities. Students participated in Ancient Village Theme Booth Games, explored the National Education Exhibition to deepen their understanding of our country, and took part in Sister School Activities that promoted friendship and mutual learning. Through these experiences, students gained broader knowledge, developed a greater sense of belonging, and strengthened their awareness of national identity.🇨🇳

2nd Runner-up of the Boys’ Junior Grade Beach Volleyball Competition
3rd Runner-up of the Boys’ C Grade Volleyball Competition

Over the weekend, more good news kept coming from the Boys’ Volleyball Team. The Boys’ C Grade team finished the competition as 3rd runner-up at Aberdeen Sports Centre. Meanwhile, the Boys’ Junior Grade team achieved 2nd runner-up at Cateria Beach.

Congratulations to the boys—let’s keep up the passion! Fight for the best next season!💪
