2026年德國禪修之旅
今年5月20日至26日，書院舉辦了德國禪修之旅，邀請大學通識教育部高莘博士帶領8位書院同學，遠赴一行禪師位於德國的禪修中心，參加短期禪修課程。短短數天，同學們體驗了多項禪修活動，並與禪師進行深入交流。期間刻意放下手機，回歸簡樸生活，並學習專注當下，更好地照顧自己以及疏理自身情緒，從而重拾內心的平安與喜悅。

Mindfulness Trip in Germany 2026
From 20 to 26 May 2026, the College organized a Mindfulness Trip in Germany. The College invited Dr. GAO Xin from the University’s General Education Office to lead eight College students on a journey to the European Institute of Applied Buddhism, Thich Nhat Hanh’s mindfulness centre in Germany, for a short-term retreat.

Over the course of several days, students experienced a wide range of mindfulness activities and engaged in in-depth exchanges with the zen masters. By putting aside their mobile phones and returning to a simple way of living, students learned to focus on the present moment, take better care of themselves and sort through their emotions, thereby rediscovering inner peace and joy.

「心連心擊鼓工作坊」

12 位同學於2026 年 5 月 8 日 (星期五) 參加了由書院舉辦的「心連心擊鼓工作坊」。在子建老師的帶領下，大家跟隨節拍專注擊鼓，體驗到拋除雜念、專注當下的力量，並在鼓聲中與自己和他人建立連結。

Heart-to-Heart Drumming Workshop

On Friday, 8 May, 2026, 12 students joined the Heart-to-Heart Drumming Workshop organized by the College. Guided by the instructor Tsz Kin, participants experienced how following the rhythm and focusing on each beat could help clear distractions, stay present, and build meaningful connections with themselves and others.

工作坊昨日在禤永明樓圓滿舉行🌿
導師 Ivy為大家介紹香港常見的草本，原來身邊不起眼的植物之中，竟然藏着不少藥用植物 (如火炭母、茅根) 和可食用的野菜 (如薺菜)，令參加者大開眼界😮
大家輕鬆漫步逸夫校園，尋花問草，探索書院中豐富的植物多樣性，並以一場植物速繪為活動畫上圓滿句號 🎨✨

【Wild “Weeds” Identification and Field Sketching Workshop: Discovering Wild Herbs around you】
The workshop was successfully held at Huen Wing Ming Building yesterday 🌿
Instructor Ivy introduced participants to common weeds found in Hong Kong. Who would have thought that these seemingly ordinary plants include so many medicinal species, such as Smartweed and Lalang Grass Rhizome, as well as edible wild vegetables like Shepherd’s Purse? 😮
Participants enjoyed a relaxing walk around the Shaw campus, discovering its rich plant biodiversity. The event was wrapped up with a delightful session of botanical sketching 🎨✨

書院於4月17日的書院聚會邀請到2024年度逸夫之星傑出校友得主莊禮基先生，分享《擁抱人工智能：在智能協作時代迎接職業成長與社會挑戰》。

莊先生現任理光香港有限公司常務董事，他向同學分享人工智能如何影響職業生涯及社會所面對的挑戰，並強調擁抱人工智能、終身學習及自我認識的重要性。他亦以自身經歷及《易經》哲理作例子，鼓勵同學制定職涯目標及思考成功的定義。

同時，莊先生提醒同學，隨着人工智能的發展，職場競爭將日益激烈。雖然部分工作可能被人工智能取代，但亦會同時創造新的職位，因為人工智能能提升生產力，惟仍需人類的創意、情感、道德判斷及藝術感。莊先生建議同學培養批判性思維、好奇心、主動性及表達能力等軟技巧，以提升自身競爭力。

At the College Assembly held on 17 April, the College was honoured to invite Mr. CHONG Lai-kei Ricky, the recipient of the 2024 “Star of Shaw” Award, to deliver a sharing entitled “Embracing Artificial Intelligence: Navigating Career Development and Societal Challenges in the Era of Intelligent Collaboration.”

Mr. Chong, who is currently the Managing Director of Ricoh Hong Kong Limited, shared with students insights into how artificial intelligence is reshaping career development and the challenges it poses to society. He emphasised the importance of embracing artificial intelligence, lifelong learning, and self-awareness. Drawing on his personal experiences as well as the philosophy of the I Ching, Mr. Chong encouraged students to set clear career goals and to reflect thoughtfully on the meaning of success.

Mr. Chong also reminded students that, with the rapid development of artificial intelligence, competition in the workplace will become increasingly intense. While some jobs may be replaced by artificial intelligence, new positions will also emerge, as artificial intelligence enhances productivity but continues to rely on uniquely human qualities such as creativity, emotion, moral judgement, and artistic sensibility. He advised students to cultivate soft skills, including critical thinking, curiosity, initiative, and communication skills, in order to enhance their overall competitiveness.

王曉欣
「WEEDsilience」及「Pi Lab Limited」共同創辦人，研究野生草本植物的生態功能及園境用途，同時從事植物學教育及培訓工作。香港中文大學環境科學系一級榮譽畢業。曾任植物標本館科研統籌，《香港原生植物圖鑑》系列繪圖師、作者及編輯，負責野外標本採集、植物學教育計劃、實習生培訓、標本電子化、花粉研究等工作。曾參與荔枝窩的復耕計劃，現亦於「大地予我」協助稻米記錄工作。

Wild “Weeds” Identification and Field Sketching Workshop: Discovering Wild Herbs around you, is coming back!

Instructor
Ivy, Wong Hiu Yan
Co-founder of "WEEDsilience" and "Pi Lab Limited," focusing on the ecological functions and landscape applications of wild herbaceous plants, while also engaged in botany education and training. Graduated with first-class honors from the Department of Environmental Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Previously served as a research coordinator at the Herbarium, illustrator, author, and editor for the "Botanical Illustrated Guide to Hong Kong Native Plants" series, responsible for field specimen collection, botany education programs, intern training, specimen digitization, and pollen research. Participated in the re-farming project at Lai Chi Wo and is currently assisting with rice documentation for "Gift From Land".

今年很榮幸能再次邀請吳仟峰先生擔任特別嘉賓，讓觀眾欣賞不同演唱嘉賓的藝術造詣，亦盼望吸引更多年青觀眾，多接觸和認識粵劇粵曲，為傳承盡一點力。

工作坊內容︰
1.接地：從身體的覺知出發，借用太極拳的訓練技巧，學習如何與自己與大地連結。
2.靜心：透過擊鼓，從動態中專注，再進入靜心。
3.遊戲：以鼓作為溝通的媒介，去掉語言的偽裝，體會人與人之間單純溝通的喜悅。

2007 年開始研習頌缽，並遠赴印度及尼泊爾學習不同的頌缽技巧。 2024 年創立 Kissiian Dojo 羯爾斯藝埸，在探索道藝合一這條道路上踏上另一階段。
