Celebrating mother’s day and our planet UAL offerd a mix of activities that entertained visitors as well as drew attention to how we overuse our environment.
At the centre of the space, students from the University of Hong Kong School of Architecture buildt an art installation representing our impermanent and fragile forests.
In the PMQ Courtyard, visitors experienced a mix of urban arts and wellness activities including workshops in graffiti, upcycling, meditation, yoga, hair-braiding and dance.

Thank you to Section Juan for being part of Urban Arts Labs yesterday! You guys rock! :)
A massive shout-out to Fake Frog Productions for inviting us to be part of a big mainstream event.
We had the opportunity to share with other people what Section Juan is about and had a few Filipinos who recognised our Tagalog jams and introduced themselves, people both new in Hong Kong with one Pinoy expat who just moved in and said "this is what I'm looking for!"
We also got to share about the survey we are conducting (The online version of our survey can be found on the following link:

It was also nice meeting Vince Mendoza and Lema Diaz of Philippine All-stars Dance Group (Two-time World Champions).

And to our mothers and all the wonderful mothers out there, thanks for allowing us to serve the community we're very much a part of. Told ya, your love will travel miles! YOU ARE THE BEST!
