【都大世界公民計劃：吉隆坡社區參與探索之旅🇲🇾 - 服務篇💕】

8月上旬，12位MU Global Citizen同學到吉隆坡展開為期5日嘅旅程😆。透過服務長者及特殊學校學童、與聽障人士及大學生交流，以及城市探索，同學學習放低刻板印象，體驗多元文化下嘅共融🙌🏻

喺長者服務中，同學以香港地鐵站文化設計遊戲同馬賽克製作，促進長者嘅認知能力同手眼協調。長者們投入參與之餘，更教同學跳舞💃，並以口琴演奏作為感謝，場面溫馨感人🥹，實踐咗跨文化及世代共融❤️

喺特殊學校，同學以香港交通及美食為主題，透過藝術創作及唱遊，向學童介紹香港🇭🇰。同學以耐性同陪伴跨越差異，建立真誠連繫💕。校長亦感謝同學嘅用心，並表示活動啟發老師設計更多元及有創意嘅教學活動✨

今次經歷讓同學體會到，服務唔只係付出，更係雙向學習同啟發嘅旅程✨。每次交流都讓大家更明白同尊重差異，連結社群，實踐共融嘅意義🫶🏻

In early August, 12 MU Global Citizen students joined a 5-day trip to Kuala Lumpur😆. Through elderly service, a special school visit, exchanges with the Deaf community and university students, and city exploration, they learned to let go of stereotypes and experience inclusion in a multicultural setting🙌🏻

Students led MTR-themed games and mosaic art activities with elderly participants to support cognitive skills and hand-eye coordination. The participants joined in actively, danced with the students 💃, and performed harmonica songs as a thank-you🥹, reflecting cross-cultural and intergenerational inclusion❤️

At the special school, students introduced Hong Kong🇭🇰 through transport, food, artwork, and sing-along activities, building meaningful connections with patience and care💕. The principal appreciated their preparation, which inspired more diverse and creative teaching ideas✨

The experience showed students that service is about mutual learning, respect, community connection, and inclusion🫶🏻

一班同學早前走入廉政公署✨，參加沉浸式體驗活動 “Operation 303”🙌，化身「廉政公署調查員」🕵️，親身模擬調查貪污案件🔎！透過「背景調查」、「埋伏拘捕」、「多重搜證」及「嫌疑人問話」四大任務💪，同學要喺有限時間內拆解線索、分析證據⌛️，極之考驗觀察力、邏輯思維同團隊合作🧠🤝，讓真相水落石出📝

活動中，同學運用咗構成貪污嘅四大要素（4As）嚟完成各種任務🎯，深入了解到反貪工作嘅專業程序🧐。喺破案過程中，佢哋切身體會到廉潔、公義同誠信嘅重要性👀。由「睇戲」變成「入戲」，同學對廉政、公民責任，以至日常生活中嘅道德選擇⚖️，都有更深刻嘅反思同體會🥳

Our students recently took on the "Operation 303" immersive experience at the ICAC🙌, stepping into the role of ICAC investigators🕵️ to crack a simulated corruption case🔎

Tackling four core missions🔎Background Check, Ambush & Arrest, Evidence Gathering, and Suspect Interrogation💪 They put their observation skills, logic🧠, and teamwork🤝 to the ultimate test under time pressure⌛️

By applying the 4As of corruption 🎯, students gained hands-on insight into professional anti-corruption operations. Going from spectators to real players, the experience deepened their understanding of integrity, civic duty, and ethical decision-making ⚖️🥳

環球市場及供應鏈管理二年級生李婉菁（𝑨𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒆）係首屆「都大青年氣候倡議培訓計劃」嘅成員。該計劃結合培訓與行動實踐，致力培育關注氣候危機與可持續發展嘅青年領袖💪。參加者會親自策劃同推行具影響力嘅氣候倡議項目，更有機會代表學校出席國際會議，走上世界舞台為氣候發聲🎤

Alice 分享：「喺計劃中，我有機會親自主導項目並放心試錯。透過籌辦社區工作坊、訪問持份者同撰寫政策建議📝，我嘅應變、表達及溝通能力都有明顯提升，體會到真正嘅競爭力來自不斷嘗試與反思💭。」

完成第一屆計劃後，Alice 成為第二屆學生導師，以「過來人」身分支援新學員，同時進一步鞏固自己嘅領導與協調能力🤝

Professional knowledge is important, but employers equally value soft skills. Since these cannot be developed through classroom theory alone, engaging in campus programmes is key😎

𝑨𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑳𝑬𝑬, a Year 2 student in Global Marketing and Supply Chain Management, joined the first cohort of the “HKMU Youth Climate Advocacy Training Programme”, which combines training with action to nurture young leaders in tackling the climate crisis and promoting sustainable development💪, offering students the chance to implement impactful climate projects and even represent the University at international conferences🎤

Alice shared: “The programme let me experiment without fear of mistakes. Through organising workshops, interviewing stakeholders and drafting policies📝, I greatly improved my adaptability and communication skills, realising that true competitiveness comes from trial and reflection.”💭

After completing the first cohort, she became a student mentor for the second, guiding new participants and further strengthening her leadership and coordination🤝

Reflecting on her journey, Alice said: “I used to chase quick results, but now I know real progress can’t be measured instantly. We need patience and the courage to face challenges🙌. This experience reshaped my mindset and made me more mature, professional and confident about my career path.”🥳
