【Between Conflict and Hope: What Hong Kong Christians Can Learn from Christian Peacebuilding in Lebanon 在衝突與盼望中前行：黎巴嫩基督教和平實踐給香港基督徒的啟迪】
This public lecture will introduce participants to Lebanon’s unique social, religious and political context and explore how Christians can contribute to peacebuilding in communities affected by conflict, division and collective trauma.
Drawing on the experience of Al Shabiba Risala (ASR), a Lebanese Christian grassroots movement and YWAM ministry based in Bourj Hammoud, Ramy and Roula will share practical examples of working with children, young people, women and families through peacebuilding, reconciliation, psychosocial support, sport, discipleship and community development.
The lecture will connect these practical experiences with the biblical calling of the Church to be a community of peace and reconciliation. It will particularly consider what Hong Kong Christians and churches may learn from the Lebanese experience while recognising that Lebanon and Hong Kong have different histories and social contexts.
本公開講座將介紹黎巴嫩獨特的社會、宗教與政治背景，並探討基督徒如何在受衝突、分裂及集體創傷影響的社群中，參與和平建造。
Ramy 與 Roula 將分享黎巴嫩基督徒草根運動及青年使命團事工「Al Shabiba Risala (ASR)」的經驗，透過和平建造、和解、心理社會支援、運動、門徒訓練及社區發展，與兒童、青年、婦女及家庭同行的具體例子。
講座將把這些實踐經驗與聖經中教會蒙召成為和平與和解群體的使命連結起來，並特別思考香港基督徒與教會可從黎巴嫩的經驗中得到的啟發，同時承認黎巴嫩與香港在歷史與社會處境上的差異。
