From duets to bands, our night was reminiscent of the friendships that bloom and nurtured in our halls. Under the bright spotlights we see the electrifying chemistry on stage. The music that these musicians played made us feel this camaraderie even more. Thank you to all who bravely performed on stage and made us grow closer as part of CityU's family.

 

Let's look back on our singing competition highlights! Starting with our soloists, they truly captivated us with their sweet singing. Alone, but never forgotten - these amazing performers lit up the stage with their dazzling display of talent and skill, leaving the audience in awe!

We were so happy to welcome our talented resident singers back on stage in our Inter-hall Singing Contest 2023. Oh boy, did they gave it their all! A big thanks and around of applause for ToNick and Nowhere Boy's for performing in this event. Thank you to the 3 judges who came and professionally comment on our performers and help them improve in the future. We hope everyone enjoyed this event and find it as memorable as we do.

We are excited about having our honourable guests - ToNick and Nowhere Boys - join us at the Singing Contest 2023 this Tuesday!

ToNick is a punk-pop band from Hong Kong. They have been active in the music industry for more than 10 years with several successful albums and numerous music awards. ToNick is known for their catchy pop songs and energetic live performances.

Nowhere Boys is a Hong Kong-based Indie rock band that was formed in 2015. Their music is characterized by their raw, guitar-driven sound and introspective lyrics.

Both ToNick and Nowhere Boys are highly regarded in the Hong Kong music industry and have a dedicated following. Their performances are sure to add an extra layer of excitement and energy to the Inter-hall singing contest. We can‘t wait to see what excitement they will bring for us!

我哋好開心邀請到ToNick同Nowhere Boys作為我哋星期二聯舍歌唱比賽嘅嘉賓!

ToNick喺香港嘅樂壇已經活躍多年, 十幾年嚟發行咗多張成功嘅專輯亦獲得多個音樂獎項。佢哋其中以punk-pop音樂風格嘅流行歌曲同充滿活力嘅現場表演而大受歡迎。

Nowhere Boys 係一支成立於 2015 年嘅香港搖滾樂隊。佢哋大部份嘅歌曲都係啟發自電影，所以佢哋嘅音樂一直貫徹「電影式搖滾」嘅主題。

有ToNick同Nowhere Boys作為我哋今次聯舍歌唱比賽嘅嘉賓，相信一定會為依晚增添更多嘅精彩同活力! 大家係咪好期待呢～

Our football athletes are on fire! Join us at the Joint Sports Centre this Wednesday (15/3) to find out which hall will win the first, second, and third place in our Inter-hall soccer competition. Will it be hall 1? hall 3? hall 8/JCH? or hall 11? As the tension is rising, we will also hold the penalty kick competition right before the 3rd place match. Bring your roommate, floormates, hallmates, and everyone else! You definitely don't want to miss this out!

     

Groove to the melody with us again this semester! You heard it right, our Busking in SR is back with more talented performers. From 8pm to 9:30pm don't forget to stop by the SR roundabout and enjoy the music with us :)
