Dear Players,

This is another notice to tell you what you already know anyway, that the studio must remain closed for another 2 weeks now until January 20th 2021.

As we know everyone is already aware of this continued closure we still need to wtite this post to tell you all because the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will insist on seeing this notice from our social media and websites when it's time to apply for the next subsidy, which, if we are lucky might come though by Easter. This is obviouslt just an estimate based on previous timeframes of processing of documents submitted to the Physical Fitness Association who then pass those documents on to the Home Affairs Beurau who it would seem are currently "working from home" from the 2nd closure which the subsidy is part of the third round of assistance from when the studios were closed between the 15th of July and the 3rd of September 2020.

The Capoeira Federation of Hong Kong has initiated a system to select the 2021 Hong Kong National Capoeira Team.

There are 48 places over 16 categories of competitors.
To apply we just need to make some videos of you playing and doing some solos.

You can register first without sending videos and photos, so get to the website and submit that registration.

由於疾病大流行使所有賽事無限期舉行，在2020年我們無法舉辦全國冠軍賽。 這意味著2021年香港國家隊的工作將採用另一種程序。

With the pandemic putting all events on indefinite hold it’s proven impossible that in 2020 we can conduct the National Championship. This means that selecting the 2021 Hong Kong National Team is going to be conducted with an alternative procedure.

People who would like to apply to the 2021 Hong Kong National Team can submit their application through the CFHK website and through a process of elimination as observed and ruled on by the Referee Commission of the Federation a 2021 Team will be selected.

Deadline for submission: November 15th 2020

Applicants must be Hong Kong, permanent residents.

Joga Bonito: Round 1

Starting this coming Thursday 2nd July we will have a new kids Capoeira course in Stanley.

The course will run for 6 weeks, every Thursday in July and August.

Kids ages 5-8 years with a maximum of 8 kids per class.

The trial this Thursday will be from 4pm-5pm and 5pm-6pm.
There are still paces available in both sessions.

PHASE-IN PERIOD 8th - 21st MAY 2020

Dear Players,

The Government of Hong Kong has allowed Dance Studios such as Gravity Ballet and GCBHK to re-open as of Friday 8th May 2020. However, a set “Phase-In Period” from Friday May 8th to Thursday May 21st has been implemented to assure the safety and health of all Hong Kongers.

Gravity Ballet and GCBHK take safety seriously, so to align ourselves with the “Phase-In” regulations we must limit the participants of each class to 7 people + 1 Teacher. (8 people total).

PHASE- IN PERIOD ARRANGEMENTS

• Classes are limited to 7 people.
• Bookings can be made in advanced up to 1 day before the class.
• Bookings are to be made with your name and phone number.
• Bookings must be made by “WhatsApp” to Mestre Chumbinho on 9i97 4429.

Important Notes:
• Bookings can be cancelled up to 1 day before the class.
• All classes must be paid at time of booking.
• No-show for a booked class will still be charged.
• All bookings and cancellations will receive a confirmation reply by WhatsApp.
• Any class with less than 4 bookings may be cancelled by midnight the day before.
