“Soongpáli” is formed by our hall’s abbreviation, “Soong” and the word “Páli”. Signifying completeness and unity, the word “Páli” comes from Greek and it represents our hall council will start over, reminds everyone to bounce back and serves our hall together and hall as one undivided community no matter we face what kind of difficulties and misfortunes. We promise to serve with a serious attitude and take up the mission to bring our resident students a fruitful hall life. Our hall council hope that the council can link our hall mates together and create a harmonious and cohesive living atmosphere through holding plentiful activities.

"Soongergy",The 12th Executive Committee of Hall Council of C.L. Soong Hall, Hong Kong Baptist University
“Soongergy”, derives from the word “synergy” which means the cooperative interaction among groups creating an enhanced combined effect. It denotes that though there are only nine members in the executive committee, our achievements will be greater than what nine individuals can gain. We aim at providing residents with an energetic and memorable hall life throughout their residing period in C.L. We hope to enhance and strengthen residents’ sense of belonging by organizing diversified activities for them. Furthermore, our goal is to pass down the core values of C.L Soong Hall, which are “living”, “learning” and “giving”, in the heart of every “Soongian”.

The sound of hasty footsteps echoed in the deserted temple👣 The buddha statue with a gentle face yet sometime with a raging face👹 The spells🪶instruments of various practitioners left behind📿and the incense burner stained with blood🩸 All this are making people can't help but to feel horrified ☠️ Are the god living in the temple still the god who has mercy💕on the world or the devil who cursed💀mankind after being desecrated by human？🧌
