“Infancia con futuro” is focused in providing kids in Guatemala and other underdeveloped countries with basic education and professional training. They have been working in the region for over 14 years, when the organization was set up as a relief operation after the infamous “Hurricane Mitch”.

Last weekend our students had the opportunity to practise the use of real aboriginal bamboo bows and arrows during our visit to the Taroko National Parc in Taiwan's East coast. Besides teaching us this basic hunting skill our Truku guides (one of Taiwan's 14 aboriginal tribes and a notorious one for their headhunting skills till the early XX century when they were pacified by the Japanese army) introduced us to the beauty of the Taroko Gorge during treks and cavern explorations.
