🌈HOME Centre (YTM) held Mental Health Awareness Training Workshop🧠🧠❤️❤️ for volunteers in May 2026. We are very delighted to invite 👩🏻Ms Helen Mok (Child Psychological Counseling and Family Education Consultant) and 🧑🏻‍🦱Mr Elvin Lam (Registered senior Psychological counselor) to share useful information for us. .healing

This workshop helps volunteers understand common mental health conditions, recognize warning signs, and respond with empathy, respect, and appropriate communication. The volunteers often provide frontline support, notice early signs of distress, and serve as a first point of connection for individuals who may feel isolated or overwhelmed. 👍🏻💃🏻

Many volunteers appreciated the calm, respectful atmosphere and the clear explanations, which helped them understand mental health without fear or stigma. They valued the role-play scenarios because they made the communication skills feel practical and realistic. In addtion, they said the workshop improved their confidence in listening, responding with empathy, and knowing when to seek help.🥰🥰
