都大創意藝術畢業展2025
惡劣天氣下的畢業展覽安排

當香港天文台懸掛一號或三號颱風訊號時，畢業展覽將會繼續開放，不作特別安排。

如天文台於展覽日上午 7 時正後仍然懸掛八號風球或以上熱帶氣旋警告信號/紅黑色暴雨警告信號/「極端情況」*生效，畢業展覽將會下午一時正前不會開放，該日上午預約活動將全部取消；展覽期間，預約活動可再改期安排。

如天文台於下午 1時或之前改發三號或以下熱帶氣旋警告信號/紅黑色暴雨警告信號或「極端情況」取消，而情況許可，展覽將會在改發信號後三小時重開，否則展覽將暫停一天。請密切留意畢業展覽社交平台通知。

展覽期間發出八號預警/八號或以上熱帶氣旋警告信號/紅黑色暴雨警告信號/「極端情況」生效，展覽將於預警發出兩小時後關閉，出席者需接要求盡快離開會場。

如遇有任何特別事故，展覽將通過社交平台發放最新安排及資訊，有關預約活動將有專人通知相關情況。

「極端情況」*
*由政府發出「極端情況」生效，意指遇有超強颱風引致公共交通服務嚴重受阻、廣泛地區水浸、嚴重山泥傾瀉或大規模停電等情況。

Arrangements under Adverse Weather Conditions for the Joint Exhibition of the Creative Arts Graduation Show 2025

When the Hong Kong Observatory issues Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3, the Graduation Exhibition will remain open as scheduled, with no special arrangements.

If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above/Black Rainstorm Warning issued by Hong Kong Observatory or "Extreme Conditions" announcement issued by the Government under adverse weather conditions * is still in effect after 7:00 a.m. on the exhibition day, the Exhibition will not be open before 1:00 p.m. and all scheduled activities on that morning will be cancelled. During the exhibition period, cancelled activities may be rescheduled.

If the Observatory lowers the Tropical Signal to No. 3 or below/ Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or "Extreme Conditions" is cancelled at or before 1:00 p.m., the Exhibition will reopen three hours after the signal is lowered, if conditions permit, otherwise the Exhibition will be suspended for one day. Please pay close attention to the graduation exhibition social media platform notifications.

If Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement/Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above/ Red or Black Rainstorm /"Extreme Conditions" is issued during the exhibition period, the Exhibition will be closed two hours after the warning is issued and attendees are required to leave the venue as soon as possible.

If any special incidents occur, updates and arrangements will be announced through the Exhibition's social media platforms. Relevant parties will be notified directly regarding scheduled activities.

"Extreme Conditions"*
* "Extreme Conditions" refers to situations announced by the Government due to super typhoons causing severe disruptions to public transportation services, widespread flooding, serious landslides, or large-scale power outages.

《現代認同的流動性：第三文化兒童 Fluidity of Modern Identities: Third-Culture Children》

作品介紹:

In our always changing society, what defines one’s identity? This installation explores the fluidity of modern identity through the lens of a community that has been increasingly becoming dominant in our globalised world, the community of the Third Culture Children.

Young Filipino adults are interviewed to uncover the intricate layers that form their sense of identity, especially factors shaped by their multicultural experiences. These findings are layered in reference to Kachru’s well-known concentric circles, allocating the different elements of identity into a series of cultural patterns.

Translating these to a physical installation, the project strives to create a space of interaction while aiming to engage a broader audience in understanding the complexities of cultural hybridity and the significant role of TCCs in contemporary society. Overall, it accentuates how modern identities break out their rigid labels, while proliferating interest in a large but not well-integrated ethnic community in Hong Kong.

作品介紹:
The artwork explores love's contradictory nature as both connect ion and suffocating cage, trapping individuals in self-loss. It highlights how the "compromiser," silencing themselves out of fear of losing their partner, twists love into self-estrangement.

Using contrasting warm- cool tones and fragmented compositions, the artwork depicts power dynamics between "aggressor" and
"compromiser." The cake symbolizes love, while exaggerated gestures and stark white space metaphorize inner emotional battles.

The work does not reject love but interrogates its hidden costs: Is silencing one’s thoughts to maintain peace an act of true love or selfsacrifice for temporary harmony?

It invites viewers to reflect on the tension between "we" and "I" in relationships, sparking dialogue on the essence of connection and the price of compromise.

作品介紹:
如果字體有氣味，那會是甚麼味道？文字在塑造感知、情感和溝通方面發揮著重要作用。這項研究旨在透過氣味重現這些感覺，為觀眾
提供另一種有趣的方式去理解文字設計學。透過問卷調查，研究將更深入地了解人們對不同字體的看法。這些數據將在創建氣味時作為參
考，以同步氣味和相應的字體所帶來的感覺。這些香氣可以重現這些文所為讀者帶來的感覺，告訴參與者甚麽字體會提供什麼感覺。最
後，為加深參與者對作品的理解，作品會有動態情緒板，以增強香氣要營造的感覺。

If typeface has scent, what it could it be? Typography plays an important role in shaping perception, emotion, and communication. This study aims to recreate these feelings through scent, offering the audience another interesting way to understand typography. By conducting the survey, the study will have a deeper understanding on people perception on different font. These data will be used in as a reference when creating the scent, matching the feeling of scent and the respective font. Recreate these feelings through scent can tell the participant what feeling or what perception that the particular font offers. Moreover, there will be several dynamic mood boards projected through a projector to enhance the feelings that the scent intended to be.
