【福建中學附屬學校/英語辯論】「一條龍」直資名校福建中學附屬學校（福附）英語辯論隊傳來捷報，在2025/26年度「香港中學英語辯論比賽（HKSSDC）小學組」總決賽中，福附連挫聖保羅書院小學、聖保羅男女中學附屬小學及拔萃女小學等傳統名校，成功勇奪冠軍寶座。福附已連續7個學年全數晉級總決賽，並三度奪冠，成績斐然。

「FSSAS City（福附社區活動）」是福建中學附屬學校的年度大型體驗式學習活動。學校會將校園改造成「模擬城市」或大型社區，讓學生跳出傳統課堂，化身為創業家、醫生、建築師及專業職業角色，體驗真實社會運作，從中掌握21世紀技能。

角色扮演與創業：學生自行構思及營運各行各業，學習團隊協作、財務管理與解難能力。

社區共融：活動常設體驗環節，邀請幼稚園學生到校參與，由高年級帶領體驗，展現社區關懷與領導力。

繼羽毛球校隊於學界全港賽從後趕上後，今天我們的冰球隊再次逆轉獲勝。論實力，我們本身確實不如對方那支球隊強。在24分鐘的賽事中，打到最後一分三十秒時，我們仍然落後兩球。但是大家憑著頑強的鬥志苦苦支撐，終於在最後20秒追成平手。到了Shoot Out階段的第三輪，對方未能射入，球被我們的守門員接住，最終我們贏得了比賽。恭賀冰球隊勇奪亞軍！

Following the badminton match, our ice hockey team pulled off a comeback victory yesterday. Honestly, our skill level wasn't as strong as the opposing team. In a 24-minute game, we were still down by two goals with just 1:30 left on the clock. But we gritted it out and fought hard until the bitter end, tying it up with only 20 seconds remaining. During the penalty shootout, the opponent missed their third shot—our goalie caught it—and as a result, we won!

今天男子羽毛球校隊參加了香港羽毛球總會「全港學界羽毛球團體錦標賽」決賽。
比賽過程充分展現同學堅毅和拼搏的精神，先輸兩局再全力追回。在決勝局中一度落後7比11 ， 16比20。
最後，同學憑着爭勝決心，1分1分努力追回，最後奠定勝局。這種面對困難絕不輕言放棄的精神，正是我們每天學習的目標。讓我們每位同學都向羽毛球校隊的建議學習，面對困難絕不輕言放棄的精神。
Today, our Boys’ Badminton School Team took part in the finals of the Hong Kong Schools Badminton Team Championships, organized by the Hong Kong Badminton Association.

Throughout the match, our students fully demonstrated perseverance and a fighting spirit. After losing the first two games, they fought hard to catch up. In the deciding game, they were once behind 7–11 and then 16–20.

In the end, with strong determination to win, our students fought for every point and gradually caught up, finally securing victory. This spirit of never giving up in the face of difficulties is exactly what we strive to learn every day.

Let us all learn from the Boys’ Badminton School Team — their perseverance, determination, and refusal to give up when facing challenges.

小四正進行「敬愛長者」專題研習，並將於下星期到長者中心探訪。為此，本校邀請樂齡與家庭研究中心（香港理工大學）到校舉行「跨代溝通小錦囊」活動，讓學生親身體驗長者溝通的挑戰，並與長者互動，學習長者友善的溝通方式。

活動中，學生學到如何介紹自己、表達關愛及持續對答等溝通技巧。透過這次實境練習，期待學生能為探訪做好準備，展現尊重、勇敢表達與自信。

Primary 4 students are currently working on the “Respecting the Elderly” project and will visit senior centres next week. To prepare, our school invited the Research Centre for Gerontology and Family Studies (The Hong Kong Polytechnic University) to conduct a cross-generational communication workshop. Through this hands-on session, students can understand the communication challenges with elderly people firsthand and learn elderly-friendly, respectful ways to connect.

During the activity, students practised communication skills—how to introduce themselves, show care, and keep the conversation going with appropriate responses. With this preparation, we look forward to students being ready for the visits next week, demonstrating respect, courage in self-expression, and confidence.
