New European publication of our Faculty members

We’re pleased to announce that a Chinese language article on international relations – written by Prof G Suha and Prof P Szatmari - has been published in the Chinese Special Edition of ’Polgari Szemle’ (Civic Review Journal of Economic and Social Sciences).
This European recognised publication has been reviewed and has been qualified by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. It is a popular publication space for Hungarian and international authors. Both the publication and the peer-review processes are subject to the highest level of moral and ethical principles.

ANOBS Vietnam Tour continues: Official visit in Nha Trang at Nha Trang University (28 February, 2020)

The head of Department of External Cooperation of Nha Trang University welcomed the guest delegation and gave an introductory presentation about the university, its faculties and academic programs offered by the doctorate, master's and bachelor's degrees, as well as the services provided by the university to students, academics, researchers and the local community. pointing out the importance of international relations and cooperation with foreign institutions.

The two parties also discussed the ways of cooperation with Alfred Nobel Open Business School and the represented Hungarian universities.

ANOBS delegation led by Prof. Dr. Peter Szatmari, Associate vice-chancellor paid a visit to Hoa Sen University of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 24 February, 2020. They met with Associate Professor Nguyen Noc Vu, Vice-President, Mrs. Giang Thuy Minh, Deputy Head of Scientific Research and International Cooperation Department and other university representatives to explore collaboration opportunities and discuss various collaborative initiatives with Hungarian institutions. The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Gabor Rostas, chargé d’affaires of the Consulate General of Hungary in HCMC and Lt.Gen. (ret) Dr. Laszlo Botz Chairman of the Hungary - Vietnamese Friendship Association.

Consul General Alexander Rovt to Receive the Title of Doctor Honoris Causa in International Relations from ANOBS

Alfred Nobel Open Business School, Hong Kong SAR is to confer upon Alexander Rovt the honorary degree of Doctor of International Relations on 4 October 2019.

It will be bestowed upon Mr Rovt "in recognition of his five decades of exemplary commitment as a diplomat, businessman, and an advocate of social issues, such as the promotion of social justice, peace, cultural diversity, universal access to education, job creation and entrepreneurship, only to mention a few fields of his notable accomplishments."

"It is a tremendous honor and pride to stand here as recipient of this prestigious degree from an outstanding institution of higher education. I accept this honorary degree with gratitude and solemn pride, knowing that my hard work, dedication, passion and commitment as a diplomat are acknowledged," Mr Rovt said.

Alexander Rovt was born in Mukachevo in Ukraine, graduated from the prestigious Lviv Trade and Economic Institute, and emigrated to Hungary in 1973.

Mr Rovt served on the NYC Board of Corrections as Vice-Chairman and is a trustee of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He serves as Chair of the Board of Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center.

Currently, he is ranked among the most influential and richest Americans. He is a reputed businessman and real estate investor. He has served Ukraine as Honorary Consul General in Szeged, Hungary since 2008.

New Partnership in Cambodia
Battambang University (Cambodia) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Alfred Nobel Open Business School on 2 March 2019 for collaboration in various activities such as collaborative research projects, seminars and workshops, co-supervisor for research scholars, internship for students, exchange of faculty, and collaborative educational programmes.
