The 2nd regular monthly meeting of the PSA features a special guest: 范玉芬女士 (popularly addressed as 芬姐or 溫太). She has served WYK as a senior janitor for over 15 years. She is present at the meeting by invitation to celebrate her 77th birthday with ex-co members tonight.

Wah Yan Sailors is pleased to host a rare behind‑the‑scenes educational visit to the Marine Police Sai Kung (Tui Min Hoi) Base for our students and alumni. This special opportunity lets participants see Marine Police operations up close, and deepen their understanding of sea safety and seamanship in Hong Kong waters.

Carl Leung (WYK'01), current chairperson of the New York Chapter of the Wah Yan College Past Students' Association, joined me for dinner tonight. His chapter hosted our Students Ambassadors in New York City last month. Many thanks to his Chapter for the hospitality that has put them at ease during their visit.

This summer block will focus on building running base, improving technique, and preparing for the next race season.

We are also calling on the Wah Yan community to take part in the 2026 Hong Kong Cross Country Championships on Saturday, 17 October 2026. Participation in the regular training programme is not required to express interest. Serious runners, casual runners, former runners and senior runners are all welcome to put their names down as we start preparing possible teams.

Current Ex-co Member Adrian Lo (WYK'23), a second-year student of HKU Business School, is the recipient of the FBE Student Contribution and Innovation Award in this academic year.

As Chairperson of the Business and Economics Association and Team Head at the HK Trading Group, he reflected on his award: '... Leadership is fundamentally about being a man for and with others....'

Adrian's reflection traces back to his Jesuit education at Wah Yan College Kowloon.

（公教報訊）耶穌會中華省的阮廷明治執事（Mark Nguyen Dinh Minh Tri）將於6月21日（主日）下午三時在油麻地聖依納爵堂領受司鐸聖秩，恭請香港教區主教周守仁樞機主禮。

阮廷執事於1989年3月14日在越南金甌出生，嬰孩時領洗，於2010年起在越南的耶穌會度望會生活，2012年在越南取得化學系學士學位後，於2013年加入耶穌會接受初學培育。

他於2015年宣發初願，2015年至2018年在越南耶穌會的神學院接受哲學培育，2018年至2020年前往台灣學習國語，2020年至2021年到香港學習中文和英文，2021年至2022年在華仁書院（九龍）參與教學工作，陪伴學生並教授天主教培育課，2022年起在聖神修院神哲學院繼續接受神學培育。

【WYKAAO World Cup Watch Party ⚽】

Wah Yan College Kowloon Alumni Association of Ontario - www.wykontario.org successfully hosted its World Cup Watch Party on 14th June 2026 ⚽🏆, bringing together more than 50 alumni, family members, and friends for an afternoon of football, fellowship, and community engagement 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The event featured a live viewing of the Netherlands vs. Japan World Cup match 🇳🇱📺🇯🇵, providing alumni with an opportunity to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and welcome new members into the WYKAAO community ✨ Attendees also enjoyed refreshments 🍕🥤, networking opportunities 🗣️, and the launch of the WYKAAO commemorative windbreaker initiative 🎉
