Let’s celebrate our beloved Schubert’s birthday (Jan 31) with an online concert, when all physical ones are cancelled at this difficult time. Hope that we can transmit some positive vibes, hope and warmth at the beginning of 2021.

ABRSM 已正式公佈2020年樂器考試取消，將會安排100%退款，10月的樂理考試則不受影響。
而錄影形式考試（performance grades exam)將於今年底接受報名。

「第72屆香港學校音樂節」在新型冠狀病毒疫情下的安排 (發布日期: 2020年2月7日)

鑑於新型冠狀病毒疫情急速擴散，協會考慮各方情況，並與教育局商討後，為保障所有參加者及工作人員的的健康，最終決定只舉行作曲項目(N872) 的賽事，及取消所有現場演奏或演唱的項目及活動，包括原訂於3月底舉行的「合唱團訓練工作坊」。

「香港學校音樂節」一直為學生提供一個展示音樂才華的平台，然而面對嚴峻疫情，我們需要作此艱難決定，並深感可惜。協會將於2020年3月13日公布有關音樂節分階段退還報名費的詳細安排，而作曲項目(N872)的比賽安排將經由報名會員另行通知。如有查詢，請致電2761 3877與我們聯絡。

我們特別感謝贊助商、場地伙伴、教育局、康樂及文化事務署及會員在這段時間給我們無私的幫助，以及學校、家長及同學的諒解及在這段困難時間的支持。因活動取消而帶來不便，我們謹此致歉，同時希望所有參加者在此期間多加保重。

第71屆香港學校朗誦節退款安排 – 延長領取支票限期 (發布日期: 2020年2月7日)

鑑於新型冠狀病毒的最新發展和學校停課情況，協會現將領取退款支票限期延長至2020年3月31日。會員請攜同由協會發出的退款通知正本親臨或派員到協會辦事處領取支票。如有任何疑問，請致電2761 3877與協會辦事處聯絡。

Arrangements of the 72nd Hong Kong Schools Music Festival in the Outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (Release Date: 7 February 2020)

In view of the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus and the health of all participants and staff, the Association, after considering the recent situation and discussing with the Education Bureau, decided to hold only the Original Composition Class (N872). Classes and events involving live performances, including “Choral Workshops for Teachers” originally scheduled in late March, are cancelled.

The Hong Kong Schools Music Festival has been committed to providing a platform for young students to showcase their music talent. It is most regrettable that we need to make this difficult decision in face of the imminent health threat. The Association will provide details about the refunds of entry fee by phases for the Music Festival on 13 March 2020. Participants of the Original Composition Class (N872) will be informed of the competition arrangements through members individually. For enquiries, please contact us at 2761 3877.

We want to express special gratitude to our sponsors, venue partners, the Education Bureau, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and members who have been selflessly offering help and support during this period of time. We would also like to thank the schools, parents and students, for their kind understanding and continued support. Refund for the 71st Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival Cancelled Sessions - Extension of Cheque Collection Deadline (Release Date: 7 February 2020)

In view of the latest development of the novel coronavirus and school suspension, the Association has extended the cheque collection deadline to 31 March 2020. Members or the delegated persons please collect the cheque in person by presenting the original Letter of Refund issued by the Association at the Association office.
