Congratulations to our two teams of students for their outstanding achievements in the “Low-Carbon Living” Educational Resources and Short Video Creation Contest 2026! 🏆

The contest is funded by the Environment and Conservation Fund, organised by the Division of Transdisciplinary Undergraduate Programmes of HKBU, co-organised by WWF-HK, and fully supported by the EDB Business-School Partnership Programme. Over 100 secondary schools participated the contest.

The competition aims to enhance participants’ understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and carbon neutrality, encouraging students to reflect on how environmental issues affect society, the environment and the economy, while also providing opportunities to explore future career paths. Our students attended three training sessions at HKBU, covering environmental knowledge and filming skills.

Yoyo Kwan, Sofia Yan, Alina Ma, Chloe Yu awarded Best Team Spirit Award.

🏆 Our teacher advisor, Mr. Lam Ka Hei, was also awarded the Best Team Mentor Award.

恭喜本校兩組同學於「跨學科 · Co-Explore『低碳生活』教材製作及短片拍攝比賽 2026」中取得優異成績！🏆

是次比賽由環境及自然保育基金資助，香港浸會大學跨學科本科課程部主辦，世界自然基金會香港分會協辦，並獲教育局「商校合作計劃」全力支持，吸引全港超過一百間中學參與。

比賽旨在提高參加者對聯合國可持續發展目標（SDGs）及碳中和的認識，引導學生思考環保議題如何影響社會、環境與經濟，同時為學生提供探索未來職業發展的機會。

同學們於浸會大學參與三次培訓活動，內容涵蓋環保知識及拍攝技巧。本校高中及初中組同學於初賽脫穎而出，成功晉身複賽；其中初中組更晉級決賽。

最終成績如下：

黃心橋、李盈菲、李籽緹
以「2056低碳劇本殺」作品，榮獲冠軍。

🏆 高中組
關沛瑤、甄子然、馬晞雪、余日喬
以「智能回收四寶箱」作品，榮獲最具團體精神獎。

🏆林嘉希老師亦榮獲最佳團隊導師獎。

同學們展現跨學科學習成果，將知識轉化為具創意與實踐意義的作品，體現對環境保育的關注。再次恭喜以上得獎同學及老師！

Typhoon ”Red Blossom“ slammed into Hong Kong with fierce winds and torrential rain, as the No. 9 gale signal was hoisted and the entire city braced for impact. Yet before the storm even struck, our janitors had already been silently standing guard—since Saturday, they had carefully completed every precautionary measure, bringing a deep sense of reassurance to our hearts.

What moved us most, however, was our security guard, Mr. Wong. Last night, as the winds howled with ferocity and rain lashed horizontally, he bent his back again and again—hauling water, clearing blocked drains—all to protect our school premises from flooding. This was never part of his job duty, let alone on a night when the typhoon roared with unbridled rage. Watching his drenched figure from behind, I was overcome with gratitude and admiration that words cannot fully express.

Mr. Wong, from the bottom of my heart—thank you, truly.

颱風「紅霞」挾著狂風暴雨，九號風球高掛，全城戒備。但在風雨來臨之前，我們的工友早已默默守護，於星期六便細心做好一切防風準備，讓人心裡踏實。

而其中最令人動容的，是看更王先生——那一夜，風勢猛烈，雨水橫飛，彎腰拖水、疏導積水，只為守護校舍不被浸水。這本不是他的職責，更何況是在狂風怒吼的颱風夜裡。看着他濕透的背影，心中滿是說不出的感激與敬佩。

王先生，真的萬分感謝您。

Today wrapped up S1 Orientation Week! Over the past week, students explored campus and enjoyed their first secondary school lessons in English, Math, Science, and ICT. They also took the stage to showcase their English Drama performances, earning enthusiastic applause!

​The afternoon featured energetic team-building games that fostered strong class spirit, ending with a rewarding award ceremony. Special thanks to our senior mentors whose care and guidance made this week truly memorable.

Equipped with new knowledge and warm friendships, we wish our S1 newcomers a vibrant journey ahead at Pooi To! 🎉

轉眼迎來「中一迎新週」的最後一天！回顧這一星期，同學們遊走校園不同角落，初次體驗了英文、數學、科學及資訊科技科的中學課堂。今天大家更躍躍欲試，展示「英語戲劇課」的學習成果，自信大方的演出贏得掌聲！

下午的團體活動熱鬧非凡，同學們在遊戲中發揮默契、互相支持，成功建立起專屬各班的獨特班風！ 活動最終在頒獎儀式中劃上句號。感謝師姐在這個星期對中一新生的關顧，過程中也獲益良多。

為期一週的迎新見證了大家的成長與蛻變。願中一新生帶着滿滿的收穫與友情，正式展開精彩繽紛的培道校園生活！

Day 4 of S1 Orientation Week brought bright, sunny weather! After classes, students played across campus, filling every corner with joy and laughter.

In the afternoon, school social workers hosted a warm “S1 Transition” session, offering practical tips for adjusting to the new environment. Senior student mentors then generously shared their study tips and campus experiences, offering guidance and encouragement to the newcomers!

「中一迎新週」第四天，今天迎來陽光普照的好天氣！下課後，同學們在校園各個角落愉快玩樂，處處洋溢着歡聲笑語。

下午，社工為大家帶來了貼心的「升中適應」活動，並給予新生面對新環境的心理調適小錦囊。隨後，學姐們也無私分享學習心得與校園生活點滴，用切身經驗為學妹們解惑加油！

Today marked the third day of our S1 Orientation Week! The morning session was filled with dynamic and engaging classes, including interactive English Drama alongside our core English and Mathematics lessons.

In the afternoon, teachers from the Student Growth Team guided students through the 13 core values and school regulations, fostering a strong sense of character and discipline. The energy reached a peak during the School Rules Quiz Challenge, where students participated with impressive enthusiasm and teamwork.

After three days of immersive learning and orientation, our S1 newcomers are settling in wonderfully, building a solid foundation for a successful secondary school journey ahead.

今天迎來「中一迎新週」第三天！早上的課堂充實又有趣，同學們體驗了精彩的英語戲劇課，並展開英文與數學堂的學習，在輕鬆互動中感受中學課堂的樂趣！

下午，成長組老師為大家詳細解說學校的十三個核心價值觀及校規，引導新生樹立良好的品格與行為規範。而「校規問答挑戰」更將氣氛推向高潮，同學們踴躍參與，積極投入！

經過連日來的適應與學習，相信中一同學們已漸入佳境，為未來的校園生活打下堅實基礎！

S1 Orientation Week continued with exciting activities today!

In the morning, following their Drama lesson, students turned their full attention to an introduction of the "One Life, One Music, Sports & Art" scheme. They discovered the rich variety of extracurricular activities the school has to offer—an opportunity for them to explore new passions, unlock their potential, and shine in their own ways.

Come afternoon, it was time for action. Guided by social workers and senior students, the students split into groups for an energetic campus scavenger hunt. Moving through a series of collaborative challenges, they explored every corner of the school grounds with groupwork, curiosity, and team spirit!

Yesterday marked the first day of S1 Orientation Week! Despite the unexpected weather, our new students arrived at Pooi To in high spirits, ready to begin a new chapter.

The Principal delivered a warm welcome speech, sharing the school vision and encouraging students to explore courageously and push their limits in this new journey.

In the afternoon, guided by senior student mentors, the newcomers eagerly toured the campus—from the School History Museum to various special rooms—leaving behind bright smiles and happy footprints.

Full of energy and enthusiasm, we wish our S1 students a vibrant and memorable secondary school life ahead!

昨天是「中一迎新週」的第一天，雖然天氣不似預期，但中一新生們精神抖擻回到培道的校園，迎接升中新一頁。

校長熱情洋溢的歡迎辭，增進中一新生對學校辦學理念的認識，送上溫暖的鼓勵，期許大家在新的階段勇於探索、突破自我！
