Get ready for the annual HKMU Homecoming Day 2026: Thriving Metro ‧ Arts in Bloom! ✨

This year, Development and Alumni Affairs Office (DAAO) and Human Resources Office (HRO) join hands with HKMU Alumni Association (HKMUAA) to present a series of inspiring guided tours🚶‍♂️, sports and arts-themed workshops, and spectacular performances🎨🎭 that will reunite you with your alma mater🏫. With interactive game zones and sports and cultural activities🎮across the campus, you can relive your campus memories and enjoy a refreshing day filled with vitality and creativity. We cordially invite you to return to campus, to experience our academic, sports and cultural developments, and witness our growth and progress together.💪📈

Participants must fill in the registration form to register and obtain the QR code for campus access 📲. Each participant can receive a set of limited-edition souvenirs🎁 on the event day. Quotas are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.🔥

【🏆The Second HKMU Distinguished Alumni Award Recipients📣】

We are delighted to announce the recipients of The Second HKMU Distinguished Alumni Award (the Award). This award recognises the remarkable achievements of our outstanding alumni in their professions, communities and contributions to the University.

The three HKMU Distinguished Alumni Award recipients are:

• Ms Miko CHEUNG Ka-ying, Bachelor of Business Administration (1998),
Master of Business Administration (2003)
• Ms Janet KUNG Tsz-shan, Bachelor of Nursing with Honours in General Health Care (2019)
• Mr LEUNG Kee-cheong, MH, Bachelor of Education with Honours in Primary Education (1998)

These award recipients have obtained phenomenal accomplishments in their respective fields, as well as a profound commitment to community service and supporting younger generations of the University. Their inspiring stories serve as stunning role models for our current students and alumni.

林正財醫生為兒科及社會醫學醫生，現任基督教靈實協會行政總裁。

林醫生熟悉本地公共衞生政策及服務，曾參與多個法定及諮詢組織工作。現為香港特別行政區政府行政會議非官守議員，以及精神健康諮詢委員會主席。

🌟 Why Mental Health Matters – Talk of the Metropolis 2026 Kicks off with Dr Lam Ching-choi 🌟

HKMU is honoured to invite Dr LAM Ching-choi, Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Mental Health, to deliver a talk titled “The Pursuit of Happiness: Why mental health is everyone’s business”. Dr Lam will share insights on how we can better care for the mental health of both ourselves and those around us and pursue balance in body and mind in our daily lives. 💬🧠

This talk serves as the finale of the University’s annual “Soul-Wellness Campaign”! Following the talk, display panels will be set up in the foyer, where our student Mental Health Ambassadors will introduce HKMU’s mental health initiatives and support services. You are welcome to stay, visit the displays, and join us in promoting a positive and healthy lifestyle! 🌿

Speaker introduction

Dr the Honourable LAM Ching-choi, GBS, JP is a specialist in paediatric and community medicine and is currently Chief Executive Officer of Haven of Hope Christian Service.

With his extensive knowledge of local public health policies and services, Dr Lam has contributed to various statutory and advisory bodies. He is currently a non-official member of the Executive Council of the HKSAR Government and Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Mental Health.
