HKITA U.S. Tour – June 28 Update 🇺🇸
What an uplifting and action-packed day at the UPenn Camp!

Today, our players spent about 5 hours on court, working hard, learning, and competing. They were divided into different teams and played matches against each other, getting valuable feedback and coaching all day long.

There was also a special parents meeting with the coaches, where everyone learned more about the college tennis recruiting and admission process. It was great to hear directly from so many experienced college coaches and get clarity on what it takes to play at the next level.

Overall, it was a very productive day, full of learning, great tennis, and big smiles. Proud of how everyone is making the most of this experience!

HKITA U.S. Tour – June 29 Update
Today was the last day of the UPenn Camp, and what a way to wrap things up!

Our players continued training and competing in their groups, playing matches against other teams throughout the day while the coaches actively worked with their own squads. The atmosphere was fun, positive, and full of energy — exactly what we hoped for.

We’re also thrilled to share that a few more coaches showed strong interest in recruiting our players, which is just incredible.

This whole trip has been a huge success. Everyone will be heading home with multiple offers and unforgettable memories. So proud of our team for showing heart, discipline, and great sportsmanship every step of the way.

HKITA U.S. College Tour – June 26 & 27 Update 🇺🇸
June 26 was the last day of the Donovan Showcase, and our players wrapped it up in style!

Even more offers rolled in, including some fantastic news:
Two of our girls received offers — one from a Top 50 nationally ranked university and another from a Top 10 liberal arts college in the U.S. Huge accomplishments and well-deserved recognition for all their hard work!

The weather was much better too — around 28°C, which made competing a lot more comfortable after the earlier heat wave. Everyone played with great focus and energy to finish strong.

June 27 kicked off the UPenn Camp, which has a very different vibe compared to the showcase. About 20 college coaches from schools like University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins, and other top academic programs are here on the UPenn campus, training around 80 players.

Unlike the showcase matches, this camp is more relaxed and friendly. Our players get to spend the whole day training directly with the college coaches, learning, and building connections. Basically, the coaches are here looking to recruit, and the players are hoping to get recruited — so everyone’s working hard to make a great impression.

I reminded our players to be extra mindful of their on-court behavior and attitude, because coaches are always watching, not just the tennis skills but also how you carry yourself.

U.S. College Tour Jun 25 🇺🇸

Another big day for our team at the Donovan Showcase! Our players stepped up once again and played with heart, focus, and serious determination — even in the scorching 37°C heat!

We’re super excited to share that one of our boys received a Division 1 offer today — a huge milestone and well-deserved moment! 🙌 On top of that, many coaches came out to watch and showed strong interest in several of our players. The energy and support were amazing.

So proud of how everyone is competing, handling the pressure. Let’s keep pushing forward — the tour’s not done yet!

Donovan showcase first day!

HKITA US College Prep Tour:
On June 23, our players got to tour the amazing Princeton University campus and had a private group lesson with Coach Billy Pate, head coach of Princeton Men’s Tennis. It was such a cool experience training with a top college coach and seeing what Ivy League tennis is all about!

Then on June 24, the Donovan Showcase officially began. After a few days of solid prep, our players hit the courts ready to compete — and they gave it everything they had! 💪 It was an insanely hot day (around 37°C 😅), and the schedule was tough: starting with doubles and then jumping into two singles matches each.

Despite the heat and long day, our team really showed up — and their hard work paid off! A number of college coaches came to watch and showed real interest in recruiting our players. 🙌
